Ahhh.. the story of Zan.. such an ancient quest as has been persude multiple times through the past. I wish you a great deal of luck in this journey and offer what assistance I can. My time is sparse and sporadic, my memory even more so, but as a Squire of Musings I know a great deal of history can be found in its seven thousand plus pages.

Well, thank you.
I believe we could use an extra hand. Amurita and I will begin preparing our second installment shortly. Apart from that, I have a couple writing jobs I could use your help with. If you don't mind, I'd like something put together that would well represent our cause. I plan on contacting the staff about adding our project into the Scroll of Edingtol. What you write to represent us will be what I forward to them to be posted.

So I have contacted Sir Scarz and he has agreed to let us use his map as a reference for a more full map of Zantarni!

And here is the original map: Zan's original map
So things to note in Sir Scarz map is that the names in white are cities. The black names are either features (such as forests, or valleys) as well as territories (ie The Zander Free state). He has transferred features from the original map on there, as well as added lands mentioned in Meldrick's tales. So that's good news for us, since it means a lot of the hard work has already been done :3
As a final note, the 'Zantarni' on there refers to the entire continent.
@Xarxes: Concerning the historian role, thanks for the clarification! As for working with Mally on this, I haven't seen her on Zan for a while...have you contacted her another way to talk about working together? Or do you mean, just adding on to what she's already done on there?

Well, she's been gone for quite some time. When she returns, we'll be able to better coordinate this operation. That will have to be dealt with later.
Thanks for the link to the map. In Keres' thread here, you'll find the same map, but without missing pieces.
We'll have to use that information and try to get it made to better resemble a traditional map. I'd love to see that happen.

Just dropping in to let you know that I am hard at work today and nearly at the drawing stage. Have my props just about set up.  I'm going to pencil this out first and then transfer on over to the computer for coloring.
*edit* I got my first set of outlines done, i am going to male the link to the art to you Xarxes.

Oh, man. I've been gone for so long... My computer isn't working correctly, and it's really bothering me. I'm leading a photography club with a few people here in Tokyo, and I can't upload or even browse Zantarni...
I'm going to try to put together a second story that we can all work on. I'm sorry.

I am glad to hear that you are ok Xarxes, was getting a bit worried that we had not seen your for bit.
That sucks that your computer is not working correctly. Hopefully you can figure out what the problem is.

My hopes and aspirations were to get this project started by January first, and maintain it throughout the year, with monthly installments. As you can see, that did not happen. In an attempt to reconcile my own failure here, I will begin by apologising to my crew and community. Not much was invested by the majority, but a few of us were really hoping to get this done or at least started. I did guaruntee payment to a couple individuals who provided their artistic talents, and that will be paid. Also, if the crew will forgive me, I must ask again that we pick up where we left off.
I abruptly abandoned this idea due to my responsibilities that I cannot deny. Earlier this year, I was chosen for a deployment to Afghanistan and had to get right to training and outprocessing. Also, it took a tole on my relationship. That was cancelled and here I am.
