The artificial tree we have. I sprayed it with some cat deterrent stuff but they still wanted to nibble on it.

ALSO, a specific woman that should have called me doesn't, and another woman, one that should've made the first woman call avoids me like i'm the plague incarnate.
i swear to god, i'm THIS close to locking all doors and windows to that hospital and setting it on fire.

Well, it looks as though there are some interesting things going on in my little corner of the Realm these days!
Is everyone ok? ... Nightshade? ... Tam? 
How are you all doing? ... Rinkat? ... Bossu? ... Scarz?
Assuming that you all celebrate Winter Holidays in one form or another, how goes your preparations so far? Gifts and shopping done? Trees or other decor put up yet?
I, for one, am having a difficult time believing that we're already in December and Christmas is just a couple of weeks away ... three weeks, actually... exactly from today. Our tree is not put up. The house is still a mess from half-hearted attempts at decluttering a bit (so there are boxes of "stuff" laying about that I need to do something with)... and... blergh. But, a good part of the shopping is done and although there's a lot going on that I need to follow up with, a good amount of progress has been made too

I'm doing alright, for the most part. I sent my family money for Christmas so they can do their own shopping because they're in another state. My boyfriend does the shopping for his family, so I don't have to worry about that lol.
We don't have a lot of decorations yet, as this is only our second Christmas in our own house. We have a tree with not many ornaments on it, and a couple little village pieces. And a tiny little manger on top of our tiny little heater that looks like a fireplace.
And oof, I hate decluttering. Well, no, I don't hate it, I actually go through decluttering phases all the time. I just hate the moments leading up to it, where I'm looking at a messy room and feeling overwhelmed because I don't know where to begin. I try to avoid that by just... not having stuff lol

Skating around the edge of a migraine and wishing for more sleep, periodic like blah, but it's the busiest time of the market year, and I'll be helping set up for the next sale on Tuesday. And I have more crocheting to do. Also tomorrow I have to go ask at the bank why they're charging me these big fees. I actually did decorate... though most the things I have for decorating are still lost somewhere in a moving box. But the plant stand has a jingle bell garland from the dollar store on it, and a tree ornament I made from a little class at the library. The door has a thing on the knob with more bells on it, and I've been wearing jingle bell earrings more often than not. I've been given dolls for Christmas by friends who are deaf to, "But I'm thinning the family out!"
Part of me feels proud I can do the work of the market. Part of me wants to crawl in a corner with some blankets and dolls and a pillow and sleep for a week.

I am still alive and lurking about. . .I put up a tree, but mainly because my cat, Nico, loves the the tree skirt and the lights (he never bothers the ornaments at all). . .
The first time he slept under the tree, I came home from work and he had gold flakes all over himself. . .I thought maybe he had been to a kitty strip club and was covered in stripper dust *chuckles* but is was just gold flakes from the older skirt I had had. . .
