Same here, I've read so many books. But as I remember them, I add them to my list of read books. I figure if I do that, the better suggestions Goodreads will give me based on my reading history.

So that's how that works! XD I thought you just recorded what you read. Embarassed I'll definitely have to check that out. Right now I'm reading the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I'm only on the first book, but I've been watching the TV series too. I'm in love with it! Although it does have some hard stuff to watch sometimes. Have you watched/read it?

XD Yeah, you can add books you've already read. You can also make a list of books you want to read.
I've heard of it, but I haven't read or watched it. What do you think of the book so far?

I love it. I love the TV series too. They wouldn't be for everybody though. Some of it is very hardcore. I'm not sure what rating the show has, but it's worse than R I imagine. So far I'm enjoying the TV show more which is rare for me. However, I'm not as far along in the books so that might change.

I just read a synopsis of the first book, and it sounds really good. I think I'll add it to my to-read list =)

I hope you like it too. Very Happy

I'm having a hard time finding the time to read. Between RL and the computer it's hard to find the time. I also need to read when E isn't home. I can't concentrate like I used to, and he always has the TV on or music playing. I needs quiet. XD

So...yesterday afternoon, I managed to twist my ankle as I went to cross a busy road and hit the ground hard. Grazed both my knees, but the right knee was bigger and bloodier than the left. I had a couple of people who helped me get back to my feet again which was nice. I then got to hobble down to the station to catch a train home. I got to the main concourse and one of my trains had 2 minutes before it left. Definitely was not going to run for that when I can barely walk. I had sent my sister a message to find out what train she was catching because I was in need of stronger painkillers than I had on me. She called me all concerned and offered to come back on another train, which was sweet, but I am stubborn (I wouldn't be me otherwise lol), and told her once I got on a train and sat down, I would be ok. I had to sit down to wait for a train to link up to another train before I could get a seat on the train, so while I was sitting there, I got my sanitizer and cleaned up my knees. Do you know how much alcohol based sanitizer being put on open sores hurts? Like a mother trucker. Probably worse, but this is a polite website and my true feelings would be censored lol. As I said to my dad when I got home, I said "F...f...f...f..." a lot. XD

But now it is after 3am here and my ankle woke me 2 hours ago when I tried to roll over, so if I am going to make it to uni on time (or almost on time) today, I am going to need to invest in some hired crutches. Not looking forward to it, but I have no choice. I plan on stopping in to see a doctor at the uni to see how much damage I have actually done to my ankle.

But yeah, I really need to stop throwing myself in front of cars on a busy road. >.>

Well, good morning Musings!

How is everyone doing today?

It's been a while since I posted here. :3

What is going on in everybody's lives?

Sorry to hear about injuring yourself Bo. Make sure you see a doctor. In the meantime, a pack of frozen peas wrapped in a towel placed on the sore area with help with swelling and pain.

I have been there many times before. I have never broken any bones but I have twisted everything there is to be twisted.

Bo I'm sorry you had a bad day, and got hurt. *hugs* I've been there myself, and it is definitely curse worthy. XD Night is always the worst after you haven't moved it for a while.

Lillie Good day! I'm doing good. How are you? I don't have anything going on that is worth mentioning. XD Anything new with you? Have you been feeling better?

I have also never broken anything. Always a sprain which the doctors assured me is worse than breaking something. I may or may not have broken my pinkie toes from stubbing them, but there's nothing that can be done about them anyway. XD

Hi Rayven. :3

I'm doing good, still feeling a bit depressed from time to time but it's only natural. A lot happened to me over the course of two years and I think everything is just catching up with me. It took me this long to process everything that I went through.

We are moving house, so I am keeping distracted and busy and since the whole matter of finding the house and negotiating all of the details has fallen on my shoulder, I have an excuse to make things happen my way.

I am also in the middle of planning a motorcycle trip with my hubby, which we are really looking forward to. :3

I got tickets to the Foo Fighters concert that is going to be in NZ next year, so I am super excited about that,
since it's been on my bucket list for years and years to see my favourite band live in concert. XD

That's it in a nutshell. XD

Wow Lillie! You is busy. XD I'm glad that you're feeling better. *hugs*

I hope you love your new house. Very Happy If I remember right you were living with your husband's family. Are you two getting your very own place?

That sounds scary. XD I hope you two will have fun, and be safe. I only rode on a motorcycle once. It was so scary I swore I'd never do it again, and I haven't.

That should be a ton of fun! Bucket lists are an awesome thing if you can get around to do the things on them. XD

I am trying to keep myself busy as much as I can. Most of the time, that means that I fall into bed at 10pm and go straight to sleep. XD

No, we are still going to be a rather big, merry bunch.
My brother- and sister-in-law can't afford to live on their own. My sister-in-law is a cleaner and she makes minimum wage, so with their two kids, their expenses are rather substantial. Even though my hubby and I would love to get our own place, we'd be leaving them hanging and they are the only family we've got here in NZ, so... you know.

It is going to be a lot of fun, we did a trip last year which was about 1000km to our destination and back. This year, we are planning to do twice as much and go over to the North island. It is scary but we have been doing it for years, we have had three motorcycles in total over the course of years we have been together and we enjoy the adventure. I do have to say that the level of scariness depends on the driver and my hubby is a very levelheaded driver who enjoys the journey more than anything, so we never take any risks on the road, as we need to keep each other safe and sound.

Yep, I am very much looking forward to it. :3

I mean, it's the Foo Fighters! I have been a fan of theirs since high school. XD

I went to a doctor at the uni clinic after my tutorial to make sure I didn't do too much damage to my ankle. I did a good job, but no surprises which is good. Just an ankle that I have to RICE...and which likes to let me know that it hurts every so often. thunk I just had a shower so have yet to re-strap it and it is letting me know what pain is again. Wah!

Motorbikes are good fun. Though I have only personally been off-road paddock bashing on a dirt bike. On the road though, when I was younger, I was a passenger and it was heaps of fun. I think it may have been a charity thing that the MCC came out to.
My cousin was raising money to buy a specialised kit for a trike...which she also needed to buy, to be able to take her severely disabled adult daughter with her when she goes out cruising with her MCC on a weekend. And I know my little second cousin would LOVE that, I can already picture the HUGE smile on her face.

We were going to move once...pretty sure I still have a few boxes that I never unpacked from that time. Granted, with all my books, I'm going to have fun when I eventually move out. Laughing

Lillie that's very nice of you and your husband to not leave them hanging. Very Happy

I'm sure a nice, careful ride would be nice. My only experience was an idiot taking me up and down hills on a curvy road at close to 100 mph. Shocked In his defense, he didn't kill me. XD

The Foo Fighters are great! I'm sure that will be a ton of fun. Very Happy

Bo I'm glad your ankle will be ok. Just take it easy for a while.

Wow, Lillie! Good luck with moving! And yay for the Foo Fighters!

Bo, sorry to hear you got hurt. I strained my hip flexor yesterday and can barely walk. Ice Ice baby XD

I don't think I've been on a motorcycle before. I've seen too many videos of motorcycle accidents so I'm kind of a chicken when it comes to them.
