Well hello!

It's a beautiful sunny Saturday here in New Zealand. Spring is in full... spring.

I am luckily having a good and productive day today. I have a load of washing in the machine, I've got a focaccia dough on the go to bake tonight, I've done all the dishes and now I am working on the week's meal plan for hubby and I - we're going grocery shopping later today when he comes back from work.

As for my favourite item from Event shop, I will let my avi speak for itself, shall I?

I'm doing good. It was mostly a lazy day.

I think my favorite is the Mouse on a String item. Even though it's a zombie mouse it's still cute. I guess because it's so tiny.

Hello to everyone. . .

Tis a nice cool day in Lost Wages, 74 degrees. . .you can tell the locals from the tourists as the tourists are wearing tank tops, shorts and flip flops, while he locals are wearing mukluks and parkas (*chuckles* well, not quite yet, that's when it gets to the 60's here).

And my favorite is the cat and mouse. . .reminds me of "Tom and Jerry".

I just got home from a.....*has no words to describe it*......shift. It was bad. And I feel sick to my stomach. There are a lot of things I could list that are "going wrong" right now, but I'll focus on the positives:
My favorite event has started
I'm home and have the weekend off
Halloween party tomorrow
I can sleep in (a little) tomorrow



As for which is my favorite event item....yes. My favorite is all of them. My top three are Scaredy Cats, Bernadetts Reach, and Conjured Spirit.

My focaccia is doing really good, you guys! Fingers crossed. I've never made focaccia before, so hopefully, it will turn out at least partially successful.

And I got a pasta machine, so next, I'm making fresh pasta. Mostly noodles, for soup. I forgot to take the eggs out of the fridge though, so I have to wait until they warm up before I can get into it.

It's turning out to be a weekend full of cooking.

Oh, you guys sound like you're having some fun... except for maybe you Riley I hope things improve and you get to enjoy a relaxing weekend full of your favorite event activities!

So good morning! I'm here, drinking coffee, catching up on what's been happening overnight... Zukyun tells me it's really humid outside (ick) - he came in soggy after walking the dogs this morning. I haven't checked the weather forecast yet, but I seem to remember that it's supposed to be kinda icky here this weekend.

I'm happy you guys seem to be enjoying the event and our new little forum game!

It's evening here. And Bo has been successfully avoiding uni work, especially after hearing from the only other local in the group, about how badly one of the international student's parts are. I was told I was basically going to blow a fuse, is the polite way to put it, but I may end up drinking ALL my alcohol instead.

But definitely loving the RareCat and RareMouse items...and the spider items are awesome too.

We basically have a week to get it all finished up and get our presentation sorted because we are presenting the following week.

However, the other group that I am in for a different unit, is going a hell of a lot better, and I am the only local in the group, the others in my group come from different parts of South East Asia and one is from South Korea. They are doing amazingly and I don't have to chase them up on anything.

It's always one lol. Anyways, off to bed for me before I need to actually get up tomorrow and...starting fixing stuff.

Edit: It also doesn't help that the local chick's aunt died a few days ago, so her work is delayed, but I am not stressed about her work. She should at least be there for the presentation.

What do you do when one of your dogs did something naughty, but neither one looks guilty? I guess neither one will get into trouble. *mutters under her breath about needing surveillance cameras and then skips off merrily*

I'm awake... I'm awake. Sort of. *sips coffee*

The focaccia last night turned out great for my first attempt. Hubby seems to enjoy it. Note to self: less salt next time.

I'm going to be making pasta today to test out my new pasta machine. Hubby is at work, again. Can't say I'm too happy about it but oh well. At least I get a bit of time for myself this morning.

Other than that, I've woken to a pretty overcast morning but still a fair bit of warmth in the air. The weather seems to be typically springy, trying to make up its mind whether to go hot or cold.

Bo: I hope your uni work doesn't get the better of you. I am so glad that I had great groups whenever we had to do group work for our courses. In any case, go easy on the alcohol, lest you get the dreaded "h" word the following morning.

Rayven: Yeah, I think whoever did it is going to escape punishment this time around.

I've answered all of the questions in the Who/What am I? thread. Feel free to ask me some more and let's get to the bottom of Who or What I am, shall we?

Then one of you lucky peeps will get to play around with *ALL* of Zan's items on Mystero, aye?

Yeah, sometimes our petkids should get away with something, don't you think?

On that note, I just heard from the lady who adopted our guinea pig, Red. He's doing great, he's got new friends, one whom he absolutely adores and he seems to be adapting to his new surroundings really well. This makes me very happy.

I was sad not to be able to keep him but with our residency status still unresolved, I couldn't risk getting another guinea pig and then not being able to take them if our residency is not granted. I would have been devastated.

The lady who adopted our piggy is a great animal lover with horses, pheasants, chickens, guinea pigs, cats and dogs.

Our piggy is in good hands.
