If you haven't already seen, we're starting the celebrations around here just a little bit early...

Not only is there a sign-in gift for you to claim, but the Smuggler has received a new item for his shelves as well.

And, as soon as I can clear my head a little bit (I'm currently suffering from a pizza hangover, thanks to Zukyun who had a craving last night ) to double check everything and make sure it's ready to go, I'll be releasing January's DIs this afternoon as well (along with some important information).

In the meantime, I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year, and send along my wishes that the new year treat us all a whole lot better than 2020 has


Feel free to chat in thread about your hopes, goals, resolutions, etc. concerning 2021, or reminiscences about 2020. Or about pizza hangovers, silly husbands/SOs, or what you think January's DIs are going to be!

It's not the new year for me yet, but I am so ready for it.

I can't really think that far into the future for goals or resolutions. Overall, I think I just want to focus on better self care. I'm going to try a new yoga app and see how that goes.

And it's 10am here, but pizza sounds really good right about now....^^

I suspect that most of us are in a similar spot, actually. I, for one, am quite ready for a new year, a clean slate, and a return to normality (real normal, not this "new normal" baloney). We have all taken a beating this last year, imo - psychologically, emotionally, physically, etc. It's not healthy ... and it's not surprising that we're finding it difficult to look too far ahead. With all the chaos and conflicting information and the constantly changing state of things, how can we??

Yoga... wow... I haven't been to a yoga class or done any yoga in almost a year. I definitely miss it! If you like the app, let me know which one it is and why you like it?? TIA!

It's now 2pm here and Zukyun is still avoiding pizza - lol. Even looking at the empty boxes is too much for him right now Maybe he'll actually listen to me next time when I tell him he doesn't really want pizza!

I am beyond ready for the New Year. . .though I fear we may be stuck with the "new normal" longer than we want to be. . .and I really hate that term. . .I hear whenever I go into any casino where they are announcing the need for masks, etc. and how we all have to get used to the "new normal". . .I don't want to get used to the "n** n*****!!! I am sick of it. . .each time I hear it, I feel my head is going to explode!

Here is wishing and hoping for the best.
