So, my fellow Zantarni neighbors, which one are you?

I'm weird. I go back and forth between the two each year. The holidays are a little rough emotionally for me, but I'll have moments where I'm super excited.

What do you look forward to the most during the holiday season?
For me, it's a nice dinner with my family, where no one talks about religion or politics, and there's wine, laughter, and a little bit of inappropriate jokes.

I love seeing all of the Christmas lights too. I think this year, I'm going to try to hit up an area in my neighborhood that's known for their amazing light displays.

At the moment, the one who's looking to hibernate and ignore everything for quite a while. I'm *beat*! ... beyond beat, actually.

Usually, I'm more of the second one - I generally like the holidays... all the plots, plans, schemes, suspense, etc. ... it's right up my alley!

I am the first one. I love Christmas! I put up the Christmas tree right after Remembrance Day in Canada... Gotta have a couple weeks of being solemn for respect to current and fallen soldiers.

But yes, I love Christmas so much.

I thought I wasn't going to be able to do presents. But then I found micro mini Clementines on sale. Even one tiny orange is still a gift. So I got to give Christmas. woot.

Oh, a Christmas orange. How nice~ my parents you to do that when we were little since it had been a tradition in their family. I hope they survive till Christmas day!

I would say I'm in the middle. I work retail so I understand why the decorations go up early. I never hated it but I guess some people start panicking when they see it. But I'm not overly excited either. Work gets busier making it hard to do simple things like fill the shelves. But you never run out of the products just places to put them. I enjoy the pretty lights and baking and all the goodies that come with this holiday but I could use without being forced into family parties but at least I'm all set with presents and wrapping. As well as an outfit to wear to that Christmas party I'm forced to every year.

And the events always get me excited for this time of year.

Considering that we got Christmas decorations in the store I work at long before Halloween, I'd have to admit that I'm on the top portion of the image.
While I enjoy Christmas, it's been hanging around for far too long, and picking up after customers trash it on a fifteen minute basis for nine hours, five days a week every week has been an absolute nightmare.
