What is this calculator?
 It gives a rough estimate of how much currency each post is worth, based on how many words/characters a member types.
Numbers can and will change for each person so I cannot guarantee any accuracy.
Examples
I just made a post in the event topic. My character count is 302 and I received 4 event currency.
Helpful Links
Letter Count Copy your post and paste it here before submitting to get an idea of how much currency you'll get.

This is a good idea for a thread Ivy!
I just posted a post in the peekaboo thread with 265 characters and got 4 starflowers.
I wonder how much this post will get me...
Edit: This post was originally 169 characters and got me 2 starflowers.
Posting record:
- 971 characters got me 15 starflowers

Thank you Amurita.
I know in some ways how stressful posting and how overwhelming the prices of the items as well as the long list of items can be. I just want to help the community as a whole with each event.
I have done calculators in the past but I was never quite as active as I am with this one. ^^

Your second post with the range of characters = starflowers is definitely useful. Since I wasn't able to participate in the event that much this past week, it's definitely useful to help me figure out how much posts I need to get event items.
Btw, I made another post with 363 characters that gave me 5 starflowers.
This one will give me...
Edit: 5 as well with 342 characters.

LOL! Are you trying to decode my event, Ivy?
... you should have gotten more than one starflower for a 121 character post, by the way ...
edit: although I should have gotten 3 for that^^ and I got two.... *eyes the system suspiciously and kicks it really hard in the code!* Well, despite whatever little oddities are going on in the machine, you guys shouldn't be too hard pressed to earn currency for the event shop... Good luck, though!

I made another post 69 characters that gave me 1 starflower.
Edit:This post had 143 characters and gave me 2 starflowers.
- 1190 characters got me 19 starflowers

Amurita I am so happy to hear that its working for you and it is useful. Thank you for your input as well. I haven't been able to post that much or keep track of my own numbers so it is definitely great to get help!
Haha Blaze I am not trying to decode just simply offering help for the hardcore questers such as myself. And as Amurita pointed out, it seems like the event has turned against you

It's not the event... it's the code that's supposed to do one thing and invariably ends up doing whatever it wants *big surprise there* /sarcasm.
... well, as long as it's not too far off from what I set the currency earning rate to be, it's fine (and it doesn't seem to be too far off, so it's all good.)

Hey everyone! Since we have now started the next event I wanted to bring back the calculator in hopes that we can get those three juicy items that Blaze and her team has created. So while we all are posting up a storm, please record your characters and how many pumpkins you have received here. I will be doing my best too!
