About Us

We are a charity that aims to get people to post more.
The charity hands out items from the common shops and will also donate gold to users.
We hope to see more activity on the site due, lately it seems like there are always people online but there is hardly any posting activity. Hopefully this charity is an encouragement for users to post.
We also hand out Newbie Packs to new, old, and current users alike!

Dusty's section is currently closed due to the opening of her new giveaway (which will benefit all of Zantarni's members.



So, I'm new or just returned... Where do I start?

To all newcomers and returning members, hello and welcome to (or back to) Zantarni! This section is geared towards you guys.

To get started, you'll probably want to take a look at the Rules and the Zandex. The Help page is also helpful and provides some basic information about the site and who to contact if you have any questions.


To earn gold, many users fish or mine. Both of these require energy or "NRG" as your sidebar calls it. You can sell your finds and catches to The Trader, or with mining you can refine your resources at the Forge. However, I would only recommend refining your gold and bronze ores, most everything else make you lose your profits. Deeds are another way to earn money, but in addition to taking energy deeds also take courage.


So you're out of energy... Not to worry, you can always wait for it to refill or buy some apples or mushrooms from The Food Shop. Be careful not to overfill your NRG gauge though, you won't get any excess NRG back. Apples are worth 25 NRG, and blue mushrooms are worth 50.

Did your canary die? Is there a storm rolling in? If so, you have reached your cap on fishing and mining for the next 8 hours. I believe the current 8 hour limit is 400 NRG spent. Don't worry though, posting is an excellent way to earn gold as well as meet people.

One good place to post is the Place of Dreams. This is the forum where quest threads go. And, I'm sure that after you play around with the Dream Avatar Creator you will want to start questing for a few of the donation items, event items, sor smuggler's shop items that aren't sold in the regular or "common shops." (If you ever need to know how much an item sells for, check the price guide).

Another forum worth checking out would be The Tournament Grounds, this is where user-run and site-run contests are held. These offer a place to chat as well as prizes for participating. If you're just looking for a place to chat, head over to The Main Hall, this is the equivalent to a "general discussion" board on most other avatar sites.

If you want to sell art, you should check out The Creative Exchange and the Artists Quarter.

Also, if you like role playing, The Hero's Realm would be a good place for you to check out.

Oh gosh. I get to hoard event items again. I might just post from Ambi during events if I don't particularly like the items. Sending them over one at a time was a bit rough.

I think I'm going to make posting goals for myself for my breaks and for events. I worry about doing it at school though, sometimes posting 1-2 times a day is as much as I can manage with the way the forums have been.

I need to get back into the swing of being able to get multiple event sets. It seems like lately I haven't even been coming close to half.

I do know what you mean, the boards have been pretty slow. I notice it a lot though because thee are not many places where I haven't posted.

Oh by the way, Hubby just joined tonight before he set off to bed. He is all interested in role-playing and being the villain in any of them.
