Okay, so I’ve told you about the underlying basics of my 2 rpg ideas.
I believe the one you wanted to really know more about was the Mahou Shoujo idea. Okay, here goes.
My idea, as I explained, was for my character to be a guardian of sorts and help the restless spirits of young women who died with great regrets and such. A friend and I have created a basic cast of characters but since we never really got into the full story because of her sudden obsession with Homestuck- *Ahem*- I thought that maybe we aught to give it a new spin. My main character is the princess of a strong kingdom of 4 in an alliance which collectively protects a continent for which I have yet to name. This Princess- who I named Mizuki, yeah I know, HUGE SHOCKER- is 19 years old. Ten years ago, her little sister Miku died of a mysterious disease. Usually, on the anniversary of her sister’s death, Mizuki locks herself privately in her room. However, a revelation has caused her to try something different this year. Her mother is beautiful, benevolent, smart and… well… pretty much perfect- except for that temper. For her father, we had planned to have a rather comedic character take the role. He was meant to be a wise, kind and strong leader, but his gimmick was that he was outrageously handsome and buff. he would walk around the castle with his royal robe covering most of his body, and when a lady spoke to him, he’d throw it off and flex his shirtless and perfect body. Oh! He was wearing pants though. Don’t worry, the sexy king wears pants… just, really tight ones.

I like it the idea for the royal family you have portrayed. So then as usual my character will be named Kaita and what do you think of Kaita being a princess from another kingdom that befriends Mizuki. Or Kaita can be a person inside the castle that Mizuki trusts.

Either one sounds fine. If you do go with the princess of another kingdom, feel free to get creative! Make your own kind of monarchy if you want.

I think I'll go with the simpler option. Kaita will be someone within the castle that is a family friend to the royals.
