Atrix ran around town, she was upset to a great degree. All the young vampire wanted was to be accepted by humans. Which was the reason why she was trying to find a way out of town. She finally decided to rest in an alley way, until midnight.

Anthy's heart raced as she hurried down the dim alley way. She knew these streets weren't the safest, but it was late and she just wanted to get home as quickly as possible. She wasn't sure why she was in such a rush to go back to that cold little shack... She certainly wasn't looking forward to dining alone across the table from the empty spot that used to be her father's.
She was so focused on looking around for some approaching assailant that she completely overlooked the young girl sitting against a wall. Anthy tripped over one of the girl's outstretched legs and fell hard. The jolt of pain that shot up her arms when her elbows hit the cobblestone made her gasp. Biting back a whimper, she rose to her feet and brushed off her skirts.
"S-sorry, I didn't see you there", she stammered, her face crimson. "I hope I didn't hurt your leg."

The young vampire felt someone trip over her outstretched legs. She glanced up to find a girl on the ground. Atrix's eyes were glowing a dim crimson. "I'm sorry," She said in return withough answering the question asked. She was tired and almost drained of energy.

Anthy realized that the girl before her had much more on her mind than a stranger's clumsiness. "Are you okay?" she asked, head cocked to one side.
There was a strange loveliness to the girls eyes, one she couldn't pin her finger on... Then it hit her--they were crimson, almost the shade of blood, but a bit paler. Anthy found herself captivated by them.

When Atrix noticed the human girl was capitivated she instantly stood up. "I... It doesnt matter. Go home," She told the other urgently. The last thing she wanted was to be cornered by a human.

Usually so meek, Anthy had no idea what was coming over her as she started speaking again to the young girl who clearly wanted to be rid of her. "But... but it does matter. What's wrong? And I don't just mean your leg. Why are you alone so late? Did someone neglect their plans to meet you? Are you lost?" After realizing how much she had just blurted out, Anthy blushed. "Sorry for bombarding you with questions, I don't mean to overwhelm you. I just want to help, if I can. I'm Anthy, by the way..."

The smile vanished from Anthy's face as she watched the girl run away. "I was just trying to help!" she called out, sad that the girl had deemed her unworthy. Anthy sighed and started home again, feeling even more alone and dejected than before. "I definitely won't have an appetite now," she muttered to herself.
