The Eidyllic Grove - An Official Festival Hangout [Ended]

~The Eidyllic Grove~

Following a fae-light into the bushes, you stumble upon a hidden grove. You see many more shimmery lights dancing between the trees and bushes, as well as gliding over the lake on the far side of the clearing. Several white-pink waterlilies drift upon the misty blue water.

“Welcome to the Eidyllic Grove!” A voice says from behind you. When you turn around you see a faun with a friendly smile on his face. “I’m glad you found your way here. With the festivities in full-swing, it is my honour to host this special gathering for the Eidyllion Festival. Please, help yourself to some food and drink.”

The faun gestures to a long, white table filled with countless pastries and other treats that you did not see before and wonder if he magicked it up out of nowhere. There are several smaller round tables in the area which altogether encircle a majestic fountain which features starflowers carved out of marble.

“Oh and as a host I should introduce myself. For today, you may call me...Maurice!” He finishes by giving a grand bow, although he seems slightly off-balance, almost as if he’s not used to his stature. Clearing his throat, Maurice smiles to all who has gathered, “Now on such a grand occasion I cannot think of a better time to make new friends and share in laughter. I sincerely hope we can all enjoy the festivities together!”

Why I thank you my Ladies Celestrya, Toxic, and Spiced. So you've fallen for my trick have you? I will admit now that I tested all these treats here myself in the hopes to lure only the best company in my grove. And I am very glad to have succeeded!

Celeste gazes in wonderment at her surroundings. "Well met Maurice! I must agree that there is no better way to make friends and thank you for the food."

She makes her way over to the banquet table and chooses an assortment of goodies and a warm cup of tea. Once her plate and beverage were situated to her liking she made her way over to one of the tables encicling the fountain.

From there she sat and awaited good times and new friends.
