I've seen this thread done on other sites before and always wanted to steal the idea to do it here so I finally am...
The point of this thread is to think of and appreciate the positive things in your lives... So lets all list five positive things that have happened to you today or that just make you feel positive...
I'll start...
1. I finally started this thread...
2. I just saw a video for Google Glass and am super impressed...
3. I just realized I will get to look back on this one day and laugh at my number two answer when Google Glass will look like a thing of the past, lol...
4. I'm about half way finished with getting my third event set...
5. I will get to read what other people post in here today...

This is a good idea, and I commend you for making off with it when no one was looking. 
1. I'm getting a little better every day.
2. The two most wonderful girls in the world are my granddaughters. 
3. We've had a lovely fire every winter night, and we will be having one tonight, too. 
4. My son is a wonderful man who helps me out whenever I need him to.
5. There was bacon with breakfast.

I agree, I think everyone could use a bit of an optimist outlook on life from time to time.
1. I completed my first ever colouring contest here on Zan.
2. I FINALLY got back to my tango lessons which I haven't had time for in the past couple of months.
3. I got an advance on my February salary so I get to go to the tango weekend I didn't think I could go to.
4. I got a pretty decent start on a story I wanted to write for Eidyllion with my OC, Leilani.
5. I'm 18 into collecting a set of the Eidyllion items and I'm happy to see that the citizens like the new goodies.

1. I'm feeling a lot better than yesterday.
2. A few days ago, I felt truly happy without a particular reason for the first time in my life.
3. There's someone who truly understands me.
4. I've found lots of shiny pokemon on GPX+ lately.
5. It doesn't bother me that I can't think of a 5th positive thing right now.

1) Lately I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere with my life after the deep blue funk (pun intended ) I was in during my late teens/early 20's.
2) I'm chasing one of my dream jobs...and it's getting to look more and more likely for it to become reality every day.
3) I am so pleased I finally made the switch from MS paint to GIMP...my artistic skill is evolving in leaps and bounds now. 
4) I'm making good progress in losing weight and shedding my obesity...I'm sure I'll feel a whole lot better in myself when I'm a more reasonable weight.
5) I got over my inactivity in Zantarni and made quite a few awesome Zanny friends.
That'll do for me for now.

Sounds easy enough. Let's see...
1. I'm engaged. Two months now and I'm still uber happy about it. That's my major positive at the moment.
2. We recently got our yearly...errr...quote for gas and electricity. Not sure if electric companies use the same system in other countries. But we pay a monthly amount each month and at the end of the year they calculate what you paid too much or what's short. It seems we're getting back 740 euros. 350 euros because we're new customers and the rest we paid too much. Getting back money always makes me happy haha
3. Everyone I love is healthy and doing great, so that's another big positive.
4. Hmm, so real life is great. I still have time to do the things I love like watching series, writing and drawing.
5. Browsing sites like these. Just to relax and take a break from all the other stuff.
That's it for me I guess c:

And Achaia, in the US they just charge us for how much we use so the bills differ in price from month to month...

1. My mom will finally be coming home today, after two weeks.
2. My dog, Tank, is no longer sick!
3. Pay day was better then usual!
4. I'm watching Angel.
5. Just finished a really good anime series.

Ok, It's my time!
1. Today I cooked for my family "the perfect dinner"
2. I've got a difficult exam but I've taken 30/30 (sooooooooooo happy!!!)
3. I'd like to visit London, so I decide to save my money 
4. I adooore this event, and, when I've time, I'm coming here to Zan!!
5. My mom said me "I am proud of you"......that's the best.."

@Shugga: Figured something like that. Here they base the monthly bill on the averages from previous years. To avoid huge fluctuations and people not being able to pay because the bill is higher than expected. Why they miscalculated ours this much is a miracle. We haven't used less in my opinion. The heather's been burning a lot last year, so yeah -insert happy shrug- xD

1. School is over for the day
2. I didn't pass the catheterization and steril field check off. I get to try again on Monday. I guess it's a learning experience.
3. I still have some vicodin to try against this crippling back pain that's going on three days now.
4. I took a very long nap.
5. Tomorrow will be better than today.

1. I got ten hours of sleep (slept for only three the day before).
2. I ate pancakes. They were glorious.
3. I cleaned my fish bowls, so now they're happy.
4. I read Naruto and Bleach, since they updated today.
5. I finally found all 18 profile event items after digging through 40+ profiles. Lulz.

1: I made myself some french toast this morning with strawberries. I haven't had them in so long! it was such a nice way to treat myself today.
2: I found a twix ice cream bar in the freezer that I had completely forgotten about! it's great to surprise yourself without even trying
3. I completed and entered a little competition on one of my avatar site, I wonder how I will do on it.
4. I am coughing less and less today than I did yesterday. Everyday better is another day brighter
5. spent the morning looking at and posting amazing animal pics that Ifound on the internet.
