Pills?

Have you ever had a pill get stuck mid-way down your throat? Damn, this hurts so bad! I had it happen Thursday night and again tonight, and it's happened once or twice before too! I'm getting mighty irritated here, but I have to keep calm because otherwise it'll just hurt more.

Anyway, have you had this happen to you, and if so, what the .... did you do to get rid of it?? D:

I don't even swallow pill's. Xp I've alway's been afraid I would chock on it or something. I have to take flinstone viteman's for my prenatel instead. X3

you are swallowing it the wronge way so it gets stuck in your througt whole. try swollowing it with it pointing out of your mouth not at your teeth. that sould help some ^_^

Chibiruler; I don't think I got that.. It's.. oval, how can it point one way or another? And anyway, if it's inside my mouth and pointing towards my lips, it's automatically also pointing at my teeth. >.<

And I did drink water with it. I've been drinking some hot water to help dissolve it and a bucketfull of cold water as well, nothing works, it's still there. Hurts so baaaaaad! D:

Is your throat really small or something? Actually, last night I had the sensation of the pill I took stuck in my throat too D; but after a while I couldn't feel it anymore... o____O *shrugs*

It doesn't hurt so much as taste really disgusting. If that happens, I usually gag and it comes back up. <__<;;

It took me awhile to get over my pill swallowing problems (and I still have them on occasion). The only thing I can suggest is to take plenty of water with it, throw your head back and get a good swallow. :3 And don't freak out.

Yeah I take pills like that, tonight I even broke it in half, so it was tiiiiny.

Blatch; Haven't had them removed and would rather not. o.o I'm thinking about asking a doctor about it soon since I can't have this keep happening. I kind of need my anti-depressants and I have a bit of a migraine, so if my headaches get really bad I sometimes have to take painkillers. I need to be able to swallow pills. >.<

Ora; Heh, no. At least not on the outside.

Melian; The thing is, this Sertral doesn't have any taste. I actually tried before, for the first time in my life, to throw up by sticking a finger down my throat. I tried for like five minutes, but it didn't work at all so I gave up. ._.

It does feel a little better now though, maybe the hot water helped. It's still there, but it's like it's smaller or something. I just hope I'll be able to fall asleep, Thursday night I only slept three hours because of it. >.<

Just get a drink, put the tablet at the back of you tongue as far as it will go. Position it like shown earlier with the point of the oval pointing to the front. Now get that drink and SKULL, SKULL, SKULL!!
