:: The surrounding woods were flooded with with the blackness of midnight. The full moon cast a soft glow over the tree tops, and the grass of some of the open clearings. Howls could be heard here and there, and Blaque knew she wasn't alone.

Her fur bristled up, and she slowly stalked towards a clearing with a lake in the centre. Slinking low to the ground, she crept to the water's edge and began to drink.::

Through the deep undergrowth not too far from the lake, a large creature stalked low to the ground. His entire body was covered in a fine brown pelt that shimmered in the moonlight. Under the dense fur, the beast's large muscles rippled with each step. His long tail brushed the ground as he stalked forward on all fours. Often the beast found himself stalking about in these woods. He had roamed the forest for years it seemed and all the while he had been bothered by one single thing. The scent of another.

As the beast stepped out of the thick grasses it was quite easy to see that he was no ordinary beast. He was much different then the normal group of animals that scampered, crawled, climbed, or roamed through the nearly pristen forest. No, he was something different. He was something much more dangerous. The beast suddenly reared up and leaned back on his hind legs, assuming an upright position. His tail swished behind him in an attempt to help him with his balance, although he didn't really need it. He was built for both bipedal and quadpedal locomotion. Once he had established his balance he tipped his long, narrow muzzle upwards and examined the small patch of night sky he could see through the trees. The thick canopy above nearly strangled out the sky, but dispite it's best attempts a few stars managed to twinkle.

A small smile, or something that might be considered a smile, tugged at the corneres of his cainine lips. The night was still young and he was feeling fresh as ever. He shook his head ruffling the lion like mane that surrounded his neck and head. He sniffed at the crisp night air around him and froze in his place as an all too familiar scent hit him. It was her.

His ears flattened back against his skull and the coruse hairs on his spine and tail bristled. It seemed that her smell was more and more frequently appering in his territory. At first he had been tolerent, having never seen her after all, but slowly it began to drive him mad. He greatly disliked the idea of sharing his personal paradise with anyone else especially a female. He turned abruptly and began to stalk off in the direction opposite to the that he was previously heading. It was time to finally confront this female. He would chase her out and never have to deal with her scent or presence in his forest.

As he neared the clearing that contained the small but clean lake he dropped back onto all fours. His ears once more pinned back against his head as he crept closer to the edge of the forest. The trees abrutly stopped in this place, as if it the woods were crafted lovingly by an artistic god. It almost seemed out of place in the dense woods. The lake was a welcome rest stop or him normally. The woods were vast and a cool drink was much appriciated. This night, however, was much different.

His eyes narrowed as he saw the female crouching to drink from his lake. He was certain he'd never seen her before, but that didn't matter. If he had it his way, he'd never have to see her again. Slowly, his lips curled up to expose his large gleaming fangs. His mane poofed outwards, giving him the apperence of being larger than he was altough it wasn't quite nessisary. On two legs he reached nearly seven and a half feet and he was nearly 300 pounds of muscle. Finally, when he was a few feet from the bank of the lake he reared up once more to stand on his him legs. He let out a loud noise that was a mix between a snarl and a howl, hoping to frighten the female off or at least alert her that she was suddenly in a world of trouble.

Blaque slowly raised her muzzle from the water. The moon cast an eerie glow over her orange and black fur. She stood on all fours, then sniffed at the air, only to find an unwelcome scent.

She rose her muzzle into the air and howeled, allowering herself to fully embrace her animalistic nature. Slowly, all her features that were once human rippled away to reveal the stunning fox she was. Her lips curled back to reveal her teeth, and warning growl rose from her throat. She pawed impatiently at the ground, and her black furry mane stood nearly on edge.

She leaned forward to stretch out her legs and claws, then rose to her hind legs. She stood at just over 6 feet. The claws on her front paws poked through the fur.

At last, she cast another howl, daring the intruder to come show himself. She'd felt his presense around, and has come to claim this lovely patch of paradise for herself.

A surge of anger ran through him when she assumed her beastial form. He knew exactly what it meant. She was challenging him. He had to give her credit, not many females would be brave enough to challenege a male would was twice her weight and over a foot taller than herself. On the other hand, however, this also fueled his anger further. She was mocking him. She didn't fear and respect him as all the other creature's in the forest did. Even the bears adn wild cats gave way to him when he walked through. He didn't even have to threaten them.

'She will suffer.' He throught. 'No one mocks Anthony and lives.'

He crouched low to the ground, the powerful muscles in his legs coiling like springs. He waited for a moment, allowing his anger to surge adrenaline through his viens. Then, with a mighty roar he lept across the shortest part of the lake so that he was on the same side as the challenging female. He landed on all fours and dug his claws into the ground. He shook his whole body and roared, hoping to display the power she was up against. If he were lucky, she would back down and he wouldn't have to attack her. A part of him wanted her blood on his claws but at the same time he'd rather not waste his time slaughtering her.

He assumed his position on two legs once more and opened his jaws wide in a threatening display. He snapped them shut and shook himself once more, his fur fluttering up. He pointed a clawed finger at her and cocked his head to the side. He glared at her through his blazing yellow eyes and for the first time he spoke.

"You are intruding on my territory." He snarled in a deadly voice. "Remove yourself now or die."

With that threat made, he watched the vixen in from of him. He wasn't sure what it was about her, but everything about her angered him. From the way she stood to the challenging smirk on his face everything drove him mad. It was then he was sure this fight wouldn't end with his threat. There would be blood spilt that night.

She dropped to all fours and began to circle him. She was unsure she'd be able to take him on, so she decided to see what she was up against. To her, this didn't look very promising, but she had her ways of getting what she wanted..

She, unlike the handsome beast in front of her, wore two metal plates over her breasts, with two belts securing them around her chest. Around her hips she wore a long loincloth and a belt, with things strapped to it. She had thick leather wrapped around her hands and wrists, and also along her ankels and feet, held in place with more belts.

She moved before him and stood on her hind legs once more. She narrowed her amber eyes into a piercing glare and crouched forward, somewhat, ready to fight. She extended her claws, and poofed out her mane. Her tail was flickering angrily behind her.

"I'm giving you one last chance to stand down, boy."

Her longest fangs hung over her lower jaw slightly, and she licked her lips, now hungry for the taste of blood which she knew would be spilled. Her ears flattened back as she stared him down.

His ears twiched when he heard her mocking words. Without a second thought he dropped down into his fighting stance. He had had enough of this female with her sharp scent and mocking words. 'She will be dead before the morning.' He swore to himself. He slowly began circling to the left of her in an attempt to find a weakness in her armour. He wasn't quite used to fighting foes that adorned themselves in such human garb. A lion cloth maybe, but this female came out in steel plates.

He growled low in his throat. 'Even more of a taunt' he thought darkly to himself. 'She didn't come out here by chance or accident. She came looking for a fight.' He flexed his large claws and cracked his neck as he slowly stalked behind her. 'She's well armored in the front..' he mused, 'But her back is free. That is where I will strike.'

He danced forward suddenly, closing the space between them. He rested his muzzle on her shoulder and whispered tauntingly in her ear. "I'll make you eat those words."

He then lept back and held up his claws. He was ready for the fight. He would let her come at him first. A cocky smirk tugged at his black lips once more. It was his way of not feeling so bad about defeating her. At least she had the first strike.

She knew that even with her armor advantage, he still had the upper hand. She snapped at his muzzle when whispered his taunt to her.

Spinning around to face him again, she began slowly stalking forward, unsure whether it would be a good idea strike him first.

The idea soon left her mind, and sprinted at him, then took a leap. She was not aiming for him, but rather, behind him. From there she sprinted back to the side, simply to confuse him. She sprinted back, then leaped forward again, this time, with her claws outstretched and teeth bared.

His entire head followed her as she sprinted about. He snapped his jaws at the ground where he had thought she landed. He reared back up in confusion when his mouth closed around nothing but air. He jerked his head behind him to search for the crafty fox but could find nothing.

'She's fast.' He cursed to himself. That skill would be his biggest problem. He had exchanged his swiftness for muscle long ago. While he could still get about quite quickly he wasn't as nible as he had once been. 'If I could just get my hands on her, it would be over.'

He whipped around once again. His golden eyes darted wildly to try and fix on the female. Finally, he spotted her just as she was coiling to pounce. His heart lept in his throat. 'Just when had I become this slow?!' He thought to himself. 'I've been so long without a fight have I become rusty?'

He toppled over as her full weight landed on his chest. He fell to the ground with an angry snarl, his legs splayed out under him in such a way that he couldn't just leap back up to his feet. He hissed in pain as her claws and teeth made contact with his fur and flesh. He bucked his hips up in an attempt to throw her off of him and swiped at her muzzle.

(Feel free to land hits on Anthony, just nothing fatal or too critical that he would have to retreat/end the rp)

She extended her claws and swatted at his muzzle, whilst nipping at his neck and growling. Just as she leaned forward to bite his neck for her finishing blow, she was thrown off him as he bucked his hips and his massive clawed paw hit her in the side of the jaw.

She rolled back a couple of feet, then stood back up, shaking the dirt out of her fur, loooking and feeling very disoriented.

'I needa be quicker than that, he's some kind of a titan.'

She looked around again, trying to fix her gaze on him.

" I'm not done with you yet! " She snarled.

He rolled onto his stomach and pushed himself up onto all fours. He cursed himself for letting the female get the best of him. He lifted his paw up to his muzzle and watched her with a smirk. He let his long, pink tounge loll out of his mouth. With great care he licked one claw clean of the blood that had collected there, all the while making sure to have eye contact with her.

He slowly rose to his feet, knowing he could take a little time as his blow had disoriented the female. He slowly walked closer to her, this time being sure to watch her movements more carefully. A devilish smirk crossed his face and his ears perked up like a devil's horns. Her teeth and claws had hurt, of that there was no lie, but they hadn't hurt bad enough to disable him because of the thick layer of fur that came between the female and his soft flesh. He lowered his head a little and let out a soft bark-like laugh.

He walked right up close to the female, this time with no fear nor rage in his eyes. This time, he had an idea. He reached his hand out, palm first, and rested it against Blaque'd armored chest. He held up his other hand and extended to digits upwards so he looked as if he were making a peace sign. He grinned like a child who stole a cookie from the cookie jar without being caught and his tail wiggled behind him much like a puppies.

He held his peace sign a safe distance away from the foxes mouth but still close enough so that she could see it. Then, he opened his mouth and spit out his taunt. He was barely able to stop himself from laughing.

"Well then, how many fingers am I holding up?" He mocked, well ready to jump back when she attacked him once more. He hoped if he got her riled up enough, she'd grow stupid and he could have an easy kill.

She shook her head and tried to think and see clearly. After a moment, she noticed the beastial wolf creeping closer to her. She narrowed her eyes, and waited, ready to leap away from him.

She flicked one ear to the side as she watched him make strange expressions. She gasped a bit when he put his paw to her chest, wondering how he could sink so low.. untill she realized his other hand was in the shape of a peace sign.

She growled at him.

"What do you take me for? You won't be holding up ANY fingers in a second.. "

She clasped both of her hands around his, then proceeded to bite his hand. She dropped it quickly, then leaped at his chest again, slashing and biting wildly at him. In an attempt to pin him, she extened her claws and pushed down on his shoulders. Then, in a cat-manner, she kicked at his stomach with her hind legs.

"You will not make a fool of me!"

He let out a pup like squeal when she bit his fingers. He had expected her to be hostil but no where near this vicious. 'I'll have to get checked for rabies at this rate!'. He gasped as she ducked under his grasp and practically climbed him as if he were a tree. As her claws kicked into his stomach he snapped at the nearest thing to him, her ear, but missed.

"Stupid female, get off!" He took a step backwards and battled to keep his balance under the female's onslaught. He back himself just to the edge of the lake. He froze when he felt the damp bank under his paws. If he toppled over here he would surely end up in the lake with her standing on shore laughing at him. He snapped once more at her ears.

He wobbled once, this time almost completely loosing his grip. He spread his legs wide to keep himself standing. After another moment of tipping, he wrapped his powerful arms around the wriggling female and hugged her close to his warm chest. He took in a deep breath, then kicked off of the bank and backwards into the lake, all the while still holding on to the female.

'If I'm getting wet, she comes with me.' He thought just before he hit the water with a loud splash.

She kept persueing him with attacks, completely ignorant to the fact that they were both nearing the lake.

When he wrapped his arms around her, she was beyond confused, wondering why the sudden change of heart. A few moments later, she realized.

"You .. sick.. dog!"

She struggled and tried to break free, not liking being wet. She kicked, and hopelessly tried to bite him.

"Let go, let go!!"

Her ears flattened agasint the back of her head and her tail poofed up what little fur it could, being that it was sopping wet. Finally, she gave up struggling and just sat there on top of him, growling and snarling angrily, muttering curses under her breath.

"Stupid mutt..I hate you.."

For once, he let out a laugh that wasn't mocking but out of pure amusement. He lifted his head up out of the water so he wouldn't drown himself and burst out in a fit of giggles that sounded very bizarre coming from such a huge beast. He sat up quickly and pushed the fox off of him and into the water next to him. He stared at her for a moment, the broke out in another fit of giggles upon seeing the soggy fox.

"You look terrible!" he blurt out before stumbling to his feet. "Not much of a threat."

He shook his heavy body, causing droplets of water to fall off his fur like rain. They fell back into the water with soft plops. When he was satisfied, he stoped and stared back down at Blaque. He couldn't help but smile inwardly. 'How could she be a threat?' he thought. A stab of pain shot up from his aching chest as if to remind him exactly what she had been doing. He pressed a paw against his chest then pulled it back slowly. The brown fur on his paw had been tinted red from the blood that the vixen had drawn.

'So' He thought cynically. 'I was I who bled tonight..' He knelt down and washed his paw off in the waters around his feet. Carefully, cupped his paws in the water and brought it up to his chest. He washed the blood off of his fur then stood back up to his full height. He glanced at the female again, this time with all his rage gone. The cool water and the sinking moon both helped sooth his vengeful side, leaving only a calm, almost human beast. He held his paw out to the female with a sigh.

She yelped when she fell into the water, feeling the sting on her muzzle where she has a couple of cuts. She leaped up to all fours and shook herself off, then gave him a funny look.

"What are you laughing at? Never seen a woman before?"

Slinking out of the water with her tail between her legs,Blaque then proceeded to shake herself off some more. She sat down on the grass, then slowly allowed her body to return to it's more human shape. She tugged at one of the many pouches on her belt and pulled some bandages.

She began bandaging some of her cuts, when she looked up at him and noticed his fur was beginning to acquire a red tint.

"I thought your fur was brown?"
