Many of you may not know this, but October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I, myself, had forgotten about it completely, even though I brought a pink ribbon not long ago, but a friend on Gaia reminded me about it when I came across her thread on the subject.
Bo wishes to inform the people of Zantarni on breast cancer and what you can do to help support this worthy cause.

2. This thread is to inform women and men about breast cancer. No other illnesses or cancers.

Thou hast done well, milady, the thread looks wonderful. . .two other groups that support Breast Cancer awareness are the NFL (National Football League) and NASCAR.

Well I did a run two years back for Breast Cancer Awareness when I was living in Tampa..It was cool too! I didnt raise much money but it still felt good to run for the cause. 3 miles in 1 morning too..i didn't think I would make it either...lol im not very athletic..lol
I already contributed to a runner for this year ...apparently they does these runs in other cities too at similar times. Ofcourse all in October.

@ Lothlorien: *blinks* You should check your breasts every day. Not just in October when Breast Cancer Awareness is on. No form of Cancer ever takes a break.
@ Esmereina: I must admit, other than buying pins (because they look so darn pretty  ) I haven't done much to support it. Buying pins is all I've ever been able to afford. But if I can help raise awareness on websites that I visit, then I guess you could say I am doing my bit to help out.

That would be cool if someone made pink ribbons for us to wear here!!! I wish I knew pixeling but sadly I don't..
And well I think you are doing a great job thus far. ^_^ I can't give so much this year either..but every little bit counts. Even thinking of them means alot! you know?
I need to get a breast exam..i just realized this..but I don't have insurance so I am SOL this year. Maybe I'll have insurance next year..i hope.
