Poopy? Really? Laughing

It's been a while...I have this awful image of Ducky's workplace deciding to stay open 24 hours, and just chaining him to a register... Sad

Poopy?
What on earth are we talking about now?

Poopy indeed!

We are discussing the possible Duck-napping of our beloved Ducky by his eBil Tourist-Shop bosses.

I really can't say much - We have stores in our strip mall that are open 24 hours. Confused

We are the only shop in the city that seems to be open beyond 8pm. That's why it's a little on the annoying side :c Everyone who comes in pretty much goes 'Why the heck are you open at this time?'

Anyhoo. I just had 3 days off, but not really. I was attending a wedding. which is apparently one of the most tiring things ever to do after an 8 day week of horrible late shifts x.x

how is everyone else?

I'm good, but very tired. I accepted a 6am shift, which required me to be up at 4, so I could be out the door by 5... I've decided I really don't enjoy getting up at the crack-of-stupid! Razz

That said, I feel like your 8 days straight of late shifts trumps my one early day by a lot! Razz

I think weddings are tiring no matter what. That may just be me, though. Laughing

Not too bad out here. Had a cold snap (I blame all the people whining about the heat and humidity on FB. Yes, it was hot and humid, but winter isn't far enough away for me to complain about that.) for the last couple days, and we had fires at night. I thought I had used all the wood we had that was short enough to go in the woodstove, but managed to perform a minor miracle by finding one more. Very Happy Had several nice pieces once that was split.

Everything I planted has sprouted except for the tomatoes. Sad Last year, I grew a tomato plant by accident. It's starting to look like that's the only way I can grow them.

I'm starting to recover now Very Happy only a 5 hour shift today, which flew by. Hopefully i can drag my lazy butt on here so more Razz

How i miss having a legitimate wood burning fire. Radiators give off a kind of heat that gives me really bad headaches.

Yeah, radiators can dry out your sinuses something awful. Yes When we lived in an apartment heated with radiators, my son and I used to snort the occasional drop or two of water to try to keep that sort of thing at bay. It wasn't the best solution, but it did help some.

I love the wood stove. Fires are great because they aren't just heat, the sight of them is soothing, too. I also love the smell of a wood fire, but since the wood stove is fully enclosed, we don't get that part.

That is something I really like about living in the dorms. It is almost never cold.

Right now, the weather here has been pretty glorious. Only a few over humid days, otherwise it's nice enough to just throw open the windows and enjoy the summer breezes! ^__^

That's horrible, Moon!! D: Has it been that hot?

And it seems I spoke too soon. It started to rain and the weather got early-fall level cool. I want my sunshine back damnit!! **shivers under my blanket**

Nope, not hot. It has been raining and hailing enough to cause massive damage. People falling in rivers don't always make it out.

We get the river thing here without rain and hail. People tend to underestimate the water because it's pretty.

I hope you're in a safe area, Moon. Sad
