I have 3 days off. Three. Whole. Days. And no obligations!! Just.... days off.
And you know what I've done so far?! Laundry!! And I mopped the kitchen floor!!
Why am I cleaning on my day off?! Someone help me! I think I'm going mad!!

So apparently it's now reasonable for my place of work to be open until 11pm for almost half the darn year. Also for whatever reason I get to be selected for all the shifts that finish at midnight.
It's a freaking tourist souvenir shop. You can buy your stupid mmagnet with a scottish flag on it earlier in the day

Aww, poor Ducky! This on top of everything else. I could understand staying open that late for some sort of festival or other celebration, but only for the duration of that event. I have to agree with you...buy your touristy stuff when the sun shines.
Are they getting much business that late? If not, you may want to keep track for a week and show the results to the powers that be. They may decide it's not really worth it. I hope.
