I didn't bother going back on dA haha~

I have a little problem here though. My mom wants me to teach my little brother how to draw, but he's clearly not into it. He's got mild autism, so it's difficult when I ask him what kind of things he'd like to try drawing.

I would suggest things that he like, such as drawing video game characters or food, but no luck. I try to get him to try drawing simple things like basic shapes and whatnot, but after a while he just wanders off and plays his video games or watches stuff on Youtube.

When I tell my mom that I can't teach someone who's not passionate about drawing, she just pushes me to continue teaching him (like a parents pushing their kids to master piano).

Anybody got tips on what I should do?

I don't know much about teaching children with any form of autism, but I did find this very useful, and would use it would my child who as far as I know doesn't have any form of it. Mostly because I find it very helpful and an encouraging read: SchoolArts/articles/MIN_Autism506.pdf

I can take a look around for some more things that may have better ideas. Yes

I know it's not exactly regular drawing, but perhaps you could print out some line art of characters in his video games that he likes and get him to color/design their outfits? Sometimes that can spark an interest in actually drawing. :3

Sorry for not coming back in here sooner.
:3 Hopefully it will help. And lot of praise goes a long way too. ^^

Dusty/serah's Idea is a good one as well. m daughter used to be very picky about what she colored and I had to print things out for her at first to get her into coloring other pictures.
