I'm glad he understood.

I don't blame you. I don't want her to get hurt or her to hurt someone else.

Window units are a pain but they're better than nothing. I hope she doesn't get scared today. I had two up in the city and the one in the bedroom was bad for getting stopped up. :/

Well it seems Tuesday he's coming back to fix the box that the unit in placed in the wall. It's uneven and bowled out and he said taking the unit out and replacing the box and screwing it in the wall will fix out dripping issue. We are the first to complain about this but he said others most likely will since the buildings are ... I guess the only way to say it is sinking into the ground more. The buildings are kinda like leaning more to one side each year and the movement of the building no longer being level is the cause of all this. I just hope Tuesday he can fix it. Would love not having to worry about things plugged near that unit getting hit with water and having to keep water off the floor so it doesn't get moldy and weak.

Otherwise things are ok. For some reason it's sticky in here and the ac has been running. I so hate humidity. Can't wait to buy a dehumidifier to help with this problem. This summer is so horrible and it's not even July yet ; ;

Wow. That's a shame. Your building sounds like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Sad I hope they get the AC fixed for you at least.

I know what you mean but it took so long for the sunny days to get here that I'm ok with it. XD

I can see the Saharan dust on my car. Shocked I just touched Africa! XD

Well we might of found one cause for the ac not cooling off the place at all yesterday. The foam padding around the unit wasn't fully in place when the maintenance guy came over to check things out. We put it in place last night and it seemed to help actually cool off the room. Now to wait til he shows up today and fix our leaking ac so we can finally wash those two towels sitting on the floor being icky from rusty rain water from a dripping ac.

I so want my dehumidifier to come in now. ; ; Might be here tomorrow. I'm kinda over this whole thing of waking up to a paper mouth that lasts an entire day. Summer.... just go away..... no one likes you.

Old, wet towels are the worst. You need a better maintenance guy. :/

I hope it comes in. Very Happy I could probably use one too.

My allergies are a little worse again today, but yesterday was the first day in a week that I didn't wake up sneezing and my nose running. Today my nose is just stuffy. I'm not sure what's causing it. Maybe the dust. I did seem to get better after we got some rain. Now the mold will kick in. XD

The ac is fixed, we had about a gallon of water in the line when they took the unit out of the wall.......

We only have one maintenance guy and he's the one who did the work before the others were fired (they did nothing but screw things up and he had to go in and fix it).

The dehumidifier came in and it works in the room it's in. We can't place it in the hallway to cover the whole house because we have small doorways to enter the living room and too much wasted wall space on each side of it. ; ; So we are still doing test on what to do to help with the temps. We still have to run the ac in my room next to the living room to help with keeping temps down. Otherwise just running the living room ac the ac keeps running but temp doesn't go down at all. ; ; I so hate this place big time.

Could it be pollen outside that's causing your allergies? I noticed that affects me now.

I've been trying to get back to normal. Catching up on sleep and working on my plastic canvas project. Even talking to my son a bit more often. He's waiting to go back to work and to get this full pay in. They paid him half of what he was supposed to be getting and they have no idea why it wasn't the full amount. >.>; I hope they fix it soon. He's also looking into a more paying job as well since Amazon can't guarantee 40hrs a week and this new place can and the pay is higher as well. So he's still trying to get that new factory job.

I'm glad it's fixed. Wow! O.O

Oh, I'm sorry for saying he's incompetent. XD

I hope you get it figured out. At least you have it now so that's something.

I guess it could be but I've been doing ok before that and after. Whatever it was, it was only around about a week.

I hope he gets the job he wants. It's hard to get a 40 hour job anymore. :/

Well we figured that keeping the dehumidifier in the living room during day is best then at bed it goes into our room. So far it's working nicely.

It's ok for saying that.

Well I got an update on my kids, just not about my son with that job.... My daughter skidded out on the 4th and she had a concussion and whiplash. My son she said is fine. >.>; It was an accident but my children should be really careful when it comes to vehicles. They're my kids and I think accidents and them might end mixing badly ; ;

Otherwise there is nothing new here >.>; I just hope I can forget that happened. My daughter might of thought I was mad at her with how I reacted. Me showing worry sounds more like me being mad. I'm working on that part. No idea how, but I'm trying to show actual concern that others can see is concern. LOL

I'm glad it's working for you.

Oh wow! I'm glad she wasn't hurt any more than she was. Was her car in bad shape?

XD I can understand that. Most moms are like, "Don't you ever do that again!" I think kids know it's because they almost scared us to death. LOL

I hope it's not as humid in Ohio as it is here. It's miserable. Ghost

I think she was using my mom's car and I think she mentioned it's ok.

I don't know about humidity here, since the dehumidifier is working great. But we have had over 4 straight days of air quality alerts and I don't think it will stop either soon. Last year it was 3 days throughout the season.... This is disgusting right now.

But on a good note I finished my project. A girl and boy Pikachu snuggling and hubs put it in our room above the closet.

Now to test more. I'm going to try tea as my last drink for the night and no melatonin to see if they help me sleep longer. I sleep 6hrs but am tired when I get up still. I'm not sure what's causing this but it's getting annoying. I'm starting to wonder if my body is starting to hate me when it comes to sleep. >.> Women's bodies have no right to constantly torture us.... no right at all.

(go away summer I really hate you).

Here I am. This last period was a monster, with week long cramps and a headache. I'm still not fully over whatever was causing me to not be able to converse, but I figured if I hit Zan early, I could burn up all the energy here for a change.

Actually, most of the ones I've seen have a composting toilet. People have mentioned how nice it is if you're living with someone else, because you can't wake them up with a flush in the night. XD

Awww. Yeah. I used to drive myself crazy with all the fiddling. You'd think someone would have invented something better by now.

Ohhhh. Yeah, it is really cute. XD I've got all her body parts sewn now, and some of them stuffed. She looks like she has cellulite because of plastic beads in her bum.

Awww. I hate it when old dreams or dream characters show up unexpectedly. *hug*

The two times I ever drove I ran over my dad's foot, and then I drove into the ditch and out of it. That time, the guy who'd been giving me lessons decided I wasn't driving anymore.

Settling, they call it when a building sinks. Sounds like they didn't do a very good pre foundation there.

Saiyouri's a pikachu. *nod nod* Slightly zappy when worried about her kids. Oh wait. You're fully evolved, right? So you'd be a raichu? Forgive me for babbling, I haven't talked much in over a week.

Saiyouri-That's good. I bet your mom is glad too. XD

It is. It hasn't even been over 100 yet but it feels like it is.

Awww. They sound cute. Very Happy Do you have your next project picked out already?

It hardly seems a fair punishment just for eating a stupid piece of fruit. XD

I like it, but not this humid. I did some work in the yard this morning and I was already sweating profusely by 10 AM. Shocked

Tam-*hugs* I understand. I was a real bear the day I started. XD

LOL I guess that would be nice. Usually, it's people talking that wakes me up though.

I imagine the heat hasn't helped you much either. At least, I'm assuming it's been hot there. LOL

Haha Tam *hugs* It's ok. I'm sorry it was bad for you, sounds really bad this time.

And here I am complaining about my iron depleting with two a month. >.> Seriously why are women's bodies so bad to us? This is ridiculous. *hugs all around*

I'm not sure how they did the foundation, but I know the building wasn't that great, but considering it's Ohio I wouldn't doubt they didn't take in consideration this was swamp area before any place was built. I swear people in Ohio were always stupid.

Rayven- We had heat advisory yesterday until today sometime. Heat index could get up to 103 and that is new for us in Ohio. With how the apartment is made, I can feel it big time, so today I'm going to try to run the ac in my room off the living room to see if that helps. I'm on fire non stop even though I get cold all day and if I try to cover up I end up drying myself out horribly.... I swear this heat here will be the end of me (or at least I want it to be, I hate the heat with a burning passion).

Ok I think it's official, it's my body being a evil butt which is making it hard for me to get more than 6hrs of sleep. >.> I hate you body, I think we had this conversation before....

Well at least you tried to do something, don't push yourself too much if the heat/humidity is too bad for you.

Who here wants it to freeze over during this season? (that would be so amazing)

Yeah, your apartment sounds like the heat rises bad there.

XD I don't want it to freeze but I could use a day in the '80s with a cool breeze. Very Happy

I've been putting yard work off because of the heat but I went ahead and did it all yesterday and today. I'm finally done. For now. XD One of the neighbors stopped and complimented me on my work. It was really nice of him, or it would be if I didn't think he was just hitting on me. LOL

Ya heat rises badly here. Especially with two apartments below us.

We don't get breezes since we live on the backside of the building. ; ;

Well at least he made a nice compliment instead of something bad, (I hope).

Well the weather app says 96% humidity... and in my room it's sticky as heck. Today will not be fun for me. I hate when it rains in summer. So far two days in a row and might today as well. In Wisconsin it didn't bug me too much inside, since most places are built for cross breezes and apartments are more open then this place ; ;

Good thing it will take me forever filling in the black on my Toothless project that I'm currently working on.
