This is record weather for here, too. *shakes head* I'm grateful the heat works this year. I can remember one year, a few winters ago that we didn't have heat for some reason.

I'm glad you have heat too. It's dangerous and miserable without it.
My phone says it's 6 degrees this morning.  It says we're supposed to get down to -9 on Monday. I'll have to see it to believe it.

Even Georgia and Texas are getting the cold snap, according to the weather site! And friends down there are talking about the cold and the ice. Man. I gotta remember to keep praying for those guys.

Alabama does too. Skating rink roads and people making snow angels on the streets where the fire trucks need to go.

Plus degrees Celsius today and yesterday. It's to get a little colder again tomorrow.
I think I need to invest in jackets without ribbed bands on the bottom, the things make my skirts bunch up.
How are you feeling after the stress and all?

I can see how it would do that. That would drive me crazy.
I'm doing better. Thank you for asking.  *hugs* It was quite a week but we all made it. I even managed to get my aunt scheduled for her first Covid vaccine on the 5th. She should be well enough by then to take it.

It is maddening, and embarrassing.
I'm glad things have worked out.
Well, I had an uncomfortable panic attack at the farmers market, but I also fried my first portabella cap when I got home, and it was delicious.

I'm glad you made it home ok and that your mushroom was good.
I like breaded, fried mushrooms and canned mushrooms. I don't like to look at the shriveled-looking ones.

This wasn't shriveled. It was beautiful.
I don't really like anything breaded and fried. Too many memories of tummy aches attached. Otherwise I'd probably be crazy about tempura squash and broccoli.

That's good.
We fry everything here. But I think I'm going to wind up with a limited diet too before long. My stomach acts up more and more these days.

Awww. I tend to eat things raw, boil them, or slap them in the nonstick fry pan without grease for a few minutes. I'm developing the habit of fixing fish for a snack with the skillet.

I like fish best fried and slathered in ketchup. Same with shrimp only I use cocktail sauce. Your brain will thank you.
I see that! Thanks for telling me. I'd forgotten all about the little boogers. It looks like I'm getting a bunch of duplicates though. :/ I see Nope is still trucking along.
