Have you seen, sensed,or heard of people with ugly souls. I refer to the term not based on outside looks for it's a shell. It is what's on the inside. For I have been around good looking and so so girls that I avoided since they treated people like objects. _________________

I've met many people like that. It's unfortunate and very unpleasant. I try not to judge people until I get to know them, but it's hard because these types of people don't seem to have even one redeeming quality. _________________

That's true but I have also met a person that appeared to be one but actually was the opposite after you got thier trust. _________________

Have. Have also met people who cheerfully call themselves evil incarnate who are actually helpful and understanding. _________________ I am Tam. Tam I am, I like green eggs but I don't like ham.

I can empathize with people around me pretty well. It's good and bad, and probably why I tend to be just exhausted after every shift. Off the top of my head, I cannot recall meeting an "ugly soul". There are some patients from my last job that gave me sociopath vibes, but overall, I don't recall any ugly souls.
When I meet people who are rude (from mild to raging), who are cussing and screaming at me when I'm trying to provide them care, I don't see an ugly soul. I see and feel someone who is hurting and is tired of hurting, and seeing enemies in everyone.
I think it's a bold label to give someone without really knowing a person.

In my short life, I've met one person whom I might consider an ugly soul. She was absolutely miserable to be around and just a dreadful person in general; lying, saying horrible things, always jumping to conclusions and looking for the worst in people; but looking back, there were some good times (though they've been entirely overshadowed by the bad times--which were very, very bad) and despite how much I thought I knew about the situation, I don't know what else might have been going through her head. Riley has a very good point; a lot of people whom we might see as combative are likely suffering in some way, and don't know how else to cope.
I will say, though, I'm so glad she's out of my life. c': It felt like a weight was lifted from my shoulders. _________________
