They sent me an email yesterday asking for my references. Not to get my hopes up even further without an official offer yet, but in my limited experience, that usually means they're offering the job! The ones I listed all filled out the survey thing, except for my supervisor. She won't be in until Monday afternoon.

That is a really good sign. Very Happy

I read a book yesterday for the first time in months. I read the whole thing. XD It was ok, but it was a little disturbing at times. It also didn't end very well, but apparently it was worth reading since I couldn't put it down. XD

What book?

I watched Dances With Wolves for the first time a couple of nights ago. Wow, that is an amazing movie. And it took awhile for me to stop crying. Normally, I have a hard time sitting still for movies, but not this time.

Covenant with the Vampire: The Diaries of the Family Dracul by Jeanne Kalogridis. At first I thought I had already read it, but I didn't. XD It just sounded familiar because I've seen so many movies about Dracula, and watched/read quite a bit about Vlad the Impaler.

That's one of my favorite movies. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Very Happy There are still movies from a long time ago that I haven't seen. I didn't get to watch Dirty Dancing until I moved out of my parents' house. My Mom was very picky about what I watched. Rolling Eyes

Hmm, I might have to give that book a try. It's been awhile since I've read any vampire books.

I still haven't seen Dirty Dancing. There's a lot of old movies I haven't seen. I was slowly working on that list at one point, but I haven't watched any in a long time. Maybe it's because I don't really have a list. Perhaps I should make one. Very Happy

Please don't blame me if you don't like it. XD It wasn't the best book I've read, but it wasn't the worst. If you like vampires I think it is worth reading.

That would help. I was just thinking the same thing. XD I wouldn't even know where to begin though. It's been so many years since then that I can't even think of any of them off the top of my head.

Have you heard anything else about your interview yet?

Lol, I don't blame anyone for a book I don't like. Well, I might blame the author, but that's only for books that hurt my brain when I try to read it. It has more to do with writing style and sentence structures than anything else. Very Happy

IMDB.com would be a good place to start. But I just ask my movie buff friends which movies I should watch at some point in my life. I had a list somewhere. It's still in a box, though I think actually know which box it is in. I should fine it and add to it.

Nothing yet. I would think I would get a call today or tomorrow. The waiting is getting to me.

XD I know what you mean. This one did take a minute to get into as far as sentence structure goes, but it wasn't bad.

That's a good idea. Very Happy I know I missed a lot of scary movies, but I don't want to watch those now. XD I'd mostly like to catch up on comedies I may have missed.

Awww. Hopefully you'll hear something soon. Waiting is the pits.

Horror movies were my favorite as a young adult. But as I got older, I just can't watch them anymore. And I'm okay with that. XD And besides, I'm in the same boat. There are a lot of movies I wanted to see but missed for whatever reason. I should start with those.

I really hope they call me today.

XD Me too. I find most of them too disturbing. It's not worth ruining my whole day.

Me too.

I start a new job Monday. Wish me luck. I'm going to need it. XD

It's a factory job at a very small factory. There's only a handful of employees. XD They press different kinds/sizes of pills and tablets from powders. I'm not exactly sure what I'll be doing yet, but I assume running a machine. They make one item I found very interesting. It's some kind of tablets you give to dogs if they swallow rat poison. Maybe I'll get to make some of those. Thank you! Very Happy It's still hot here so I hope I don't faint in there. XD

Edit: I will only be posting in my own thread from now on. If anyone needs to talk to me, you can find me here. I come here to relax, and to post in a safe environment.

I live!

I've never really liked scary movies. Most of 'em just make me mad. Other ones, like 'Reign of Fire'... well, I didn't realize that was supposed to be a scary movie til the director said so.

Tam-*hugs*That's good. Are you doing ok? I read what you wrote in the other thread about having another procedure. Also from the other thread, I'm really surprised those flowers could grow in snow. Shocked Yes my pets are close to growing. Nope still has quite a bit to go since her last growth. XD

I didn't find Reign of fire scary either. I guess I could see it being scary for a little kid, but I just thought it was cool. XD

*hugs Tam* Thanks for the support.

Hi everyone. My brain died when I read the last thread we posted in and have no idea anything I might of said. >.> Sorry about that. But at least I'm here though.

Well brain slightly is back. Sorry bout that. I've been trying to get my brain to stop thinking about what to do recently to deal with the fact that the next three months I plan on doing nothing and not playing a game like I want to do until the game I really want comes out. So my brain isn't going to be here fully. Especially with weather being up and down. Thankfully only 3 more days of heat and then it's ok and cold.
