Hey Everyone!
So I've been talking to a few people and realized there are a few of us with posting goals. I wanted to make a spiritual successor of Moon's old 'Posting Goals' thread but with your own personal place to track your progress.
So claim a post below to keep track of all your posting goals/quests. I will link to each person's post below.
We can also use this thread to talk about our progress or lack of progress, which will ultimately help us progress anyways

Goal 1 - Make enough posts to qualify for FOTY - Not Achieved, only managed 1687/3500 posts
Goal 2 - Make it to the 72nd spot - officially achieved on Oct 28/16 but got bumped down again...

I may add a posting goal but right now I am just thinking "Right, yes, that was a thing I did."

From that 2012 thread I have not made my 70k posting goal.

@Moon: Lol, I think I just remember that thread because I kept on thinking that I should make a posting goal but I never did. Plus, it was quite popular for a while too 
10k posts in 1 year was a pretty big goal, but your less than 3k away from it now!
If you want to make a new goal, I'll make sure to link your thread to the first post.
@Keres: Thanks! I keep on losing track of how many posts I need to make when I miss my goal on some days, so I thought this thread will be useful.
I'll make sure to link your post if you decide to make a goal.

When I first got on Zanny I did more then 10k in a year. I thought it was doable but its been 3-4 years.
I'm getting old, back in my day -yammers-

Clausey's Posting Goals
Goal: 9000 posts didn't seem likely and it was discouraging getting farther and farther from my goal. As such, I decided to have a new goal of 6000 posts.
Progress: I'm currently at 5,837 posts.

Goal of 9000
My hope is to make it to the Top 50 in number of posts. However, since that's bound to change, my official quest will be to have 9000 posts by the end of 2016.
December 24th, 2015: Started goal of 9000 posts by end of 2016 with 4,953 posts and 372 days left, I needed 10.9 posts/day. I was ranked #108.
January 1st, 2016: With 5,036 posts and 364 days left, I still needed 10.9 posts/day (330.3 posts/month). I was ranked #106.
February 1st, 2016: With 5,154 posts and 334 days left, I needed 11.6 posts/day (349.7 posts/month). I was ranked #102.
March 1st, 2016: With 5,325 posts and 305 days left, I needed 12.1 posts/day (367.5 posts/month). I was ranked #100.
April 1st, 2016: With 5,442 posts and 273 days left, I needed 13.1 posts/day (397.6 posts/month). I was ranked #98.
May 1st, 2016: Started month with 5,469 posts.
June 1st, 2016: Had 5,504 posts at the beginning of the month.
July 1st, 2016: Had 5,525 posts at the beginning of the month.
August 1st, 2016: Had 5,533 posts at the beginning of the month.
September 1st, 2016: Had 5,558 posts at the beginning of the month.
Goal of 6000

Septermber 10th, 2016: Started new goal for 6000 posts by end of year. Had 5620 posts and 111 days left, I needed 3.43 posts/day. I was ranked #95.
October 1st, 2016: Had 5671 posts and 90 days left, I needed 3.43 posts/day. I was ranked #95.
November 1st, 2016: Had 5727 posts and 60 days left, I needed 4.55 posts/day. I was ranked #95.
December 1st, 2016: I forgot to update...
January 1st, 2017: Had 5785 posts, and I was ranked #95.
February 1st, 2017: Had 5837 posts, and I was ranked #95.

Speaking of posting, I haven't had anytime to post these past couple of days. I was busy prepping for Christmas on the 24th, and then doing a bunch of stuff today. I'm going to boxing day shopping tomorrow too, so I don't know how much posting I'll get done either...
I hope my post count per day doesn't go up too much

Goal: Bo is going to make it into the top 50 posters by making it to 10,000 posts to make sure Bo is well within the top 50.
Progress: I'm currently at 8,326 posts.
