<-- [May 2015] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Jul 2015] -->
This month we walk in the shoes of Wordsmiths!
So what do you think of this month's items?
Is there something you particularly liked about them?
Is there something you think could be improved?
Any other thoughts?
======
Looking forward to next month...
What kind of DIs do you want/think the theme will be for July?

Of these, I like Romantic the most.
I'm also a sucker for Blue gradients.
The shading is getting better, which is also a plus.
The only thing I really dislike is that you're selling re-colored versions of shop commons as premium items. _________________

... unless I'm missing or forgetting something, the only thing I see in these sets that might possibly fall in to that category are the tights, Hiei... and we've had several of those in both shop and DI varieties over the years. Care to elaborate... 'cuz again, unless I'm just really forgetting about something we've released in the past, I'm not seeing what you're referencing, and I'd like to know, so we can make the appropriate adjustments going forward, if needed. Thanks.

@Scarz: The hat and quill are very cute
@Hiei: Hahah, I tend to be a sucker for blue as well
As for recoloured items, I do agree that I would rather see original items, especially when they're made for DIs. However, from what I can see, only the tights seems recoloured. The epic staff looks similar to the toy staff, and the epic cape is similar to the table cloth cape, but looking at them closely you can see there's enough difference that I wouldn't classify them as recolours. I think that the same pool of artists made those items as these ones, so it is possible that these items were made that way simply because they like that style of item and they didn't check/remember how similar the items were.
Overall though, the majority of the items in the set are more original, so personally it's not as big of a deal for me.
----
As for my own opinion on the DIs this month, I don't have a particular favourite.
I love the blue, purple and orange colour scheme of the epic items. They just complement each other so well. This set might have been my favourite just because of the colours, but some of the style of items just didn't mesh with my own style. For the epic hat, I just didn't really like the brim of it. The texturing and colour kind of reminded me of a straw hat and so I couldn't really see me using it on my avi. Another items I don't see myself using is the epic cape. Generally, I always like capes, but as I mentioned above, this items is very similar to the table cloth cape, and so I can't help but feel silly having it as a cape. Although, I know that the theme this month did want to have a bit more of a 'silly poet' feel, so maybe the design choice was intentional.
As for the parody set, I do like the items. As I mentioned above, I do find them cute. But, they don't particularly have enough flair to make them really stand out to me.
The romantic set, I am a bit more neutral toward. It feels a bit more masculine to me and I tend not to be attracted to those type of items. I do like the feathers on the hat, though I can't help but feel like it's a lot and are going to fall off the head, lol. I do like the teal/blue colour used though.
I actually do know what the theme is for next month's items, so I can't say what I think they'll be, but I would like to hear what everyone else would like to see them be _________________

I liked all three DIs for this month, but I think my favorite is the romantic set I especially love the hat, rose, and book of sonnets :3

The Romantic Set is my favorite for this month, I really like the colors in it, and as always... I'm a sucker for masks. I also love the rose and the sonnet book, and I'm sure I'll get some good use out of the tights and sash.
Not as keen on the top/bottom, but they definitely look nice on more masculine avies. I haven't tried playing with the hat yet, but I do find it nice to look at!
The colors in the Epic Set are a bit off putting to me. (I'm cool with purple and orange or orange and blue or even purple and blue, but when all three get together it makes my eyes hurt). I do like the style of the cape and staff though!
And, the Parody set looks nice. I don't tens to use a lot of greens, which is really the only reason I didn't buy it this month. I'm curious to see someone wear the hat. My favorite item out of this set is probably the boots (if anyone is willing to part with theirs I'll pay 7k for them!). _________________

I think I like Epic the best mostly for the staff and table cloth. _________________ Moon's Youtube//Blog

@Riley: I forgot to mention it earlier, but I do like the blue rose and sonnet book as well :3
@Dusty: lol, that's interesting that you like 2 out of the three together but all of them is too much. I guess it's too much of a good thing
But on the other hand, it is true that sometimes certain colour combos can be overwhelming
@Moon: Lol, I like how you called the cape table cloth xDD
I do like the staff, though as I said before, I just can't take the cape seriously enough to wear it regularly. Though, it would be good for if I wanted a more silly outfit. _________________
