Hey guys! I've been well, just enjoying the last year or so in England until my husband gets stationed somewhere else! My son is just about to turn one!!! I can't believe it. Planning his first birthday party feels so unreal! The party and the mandatory smash cake photo shoot are both going to be Viking themed!
How have you all been? It's good to see some of the old names still around!
edit: ungh. :/ 144 pages of random inventory. this update maaaaay take a while. _________________

Aw, that's awesome! I hope the time you have left in England is lovely, and I hope that he gets stationed somewhere that makes the transition easy for you. Oh wow, that's awesome! Happy early birthday to him and congratulations to you. Vikings are awesome. So, nice theme choice! (I actually almost signed up to take a history course on the Vikings for this Spring, but it conflicted with a Geography class that I needed).
I've been well! I can legally drink now, I actually just turned 21 a few weeks ago (yay!). I changed my mind on what I want to do when I graduate (again), but I'm still a Geography major. I'm just planning on getting a master's degree related to forestry or national/state parks management now. I'm also super excited for Dragon Age: inquisition, and I imagine I'll fall off the grid for a while once I'm able to play it (gotta save up for a new computer first though). Other than that, I've been busy with college, as expected. But, I do try to pop on here from time to time (and it's easy to track me down on other sites as well). I'm on about every day, though I don't always post (it's seasonal affective disorder season, so I just don't have the energy some days).
Oh my! I know the feeling. I need to update my thread as well. *thinking about doing screenshots since I have a lot of sets* _________________

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. D: I'm doing well. I'm a bit tired, but that's to be expected after having spent all of yesterday at the Renaissance Festival wandering about. I'm trying to remember if I had any assignments due Monday that I need to finish... I keep feeling like there is (pretty sure I did everything). I think it might just be that my English paper is technically due tomorrow, but since I have a late pass that I haven't used I don't have to turn my paper in until Wednesday. _________________

Oh! Sounds like you had fun!! I saw your post about the map maker you found. Can I see the map you got of Rome? My husband is a huge fan of ancient Rome as well! Is your boyfriend!? If so I have a book suggestion! _________________ Rainbow Sheep Face!! Bahhhh!

It was a ton of fun! Certainly! I'm going to PM you a link to the photobucket image in just a few, I don't want to post it out in the open (mainly because I'm worried about someone stealing credit for it or something like that). That's awesome! Both my boyfriend and I are actually pretty big fans of ancient Rome. What's the book? _________________

I understand that! I look forward to the PM! It'll be a nice thing to show my husband when he wakes up!!
The book is actually a series called Roma sub Rosa and it's by a gentleman named Steven Saylor. It's about a man named Gordianus who lives in Rome during the time of Cicero and he helps Cicero and other advocates investigate crimes! It's really pretty neat! _________________ Rainbow Sheep Face!! Bahhhh!

I hope he enjoys it! We were floored when we walked into the guy's shop yesterday. He had that map blown up and printed on a deerskin hide when we entered the shop and it looked amazing.
Awesome! I'll have to look for it next time I'm in a book store! It sounds like it'd be a really good read! _________________
