The calming summer of August invites us to enjoy the butterflies in the garden or have tea in the library.
So what do you think of this month's items?
 Is there something you particularly liked about them?

I like them all, but the Monarch set is a little...overpowering. It is something where you pick one item from the set and use other items to soften the orange. 
The backgrounds with the month's items are definitely my favourite items.

I voted for Tea in the Garden, simply due to the amazing background!! 
My other favourite items include the Monarch Chiton and Slippers, the two butterfly pets and the Library background. I also have a sneaking fondness for the Barrell, although I'm not quite sure why.

I really like them all, though if forced to pick a favorite it would have to be "Tea in the Garden". . .the background is so beautiful.

@Bo: I actually don't mind the orange myself since the orange is a darker shade and not too 'in your face'.
I agree with you on the backgrounds though, I'm always a fan of those
@Nema & Scarz: I agree with you both that the Tea in the Garden bg really is beautiful. Love how full of flowers it is and how it just feels...like summer :3
As for Lady Nema's fondness for the barrell, maybe it's just the mystery of what's inside it that makes you want to have it, lol.

I do love the design concept of the monarch set as well though.

As for my own opinions, while I like bits and pieces from the sets this month, I don't have a particular favourite this month.
As everyone wrote, the backgrounds are no doubt great, especially the garden! I tend to like smaller and more delicate items so I also like both butteflies as well as the monarch whispers and slippers, and the swallowtail lashes, halo, cowl and bow. I really like the green blue colour of the swallowtail butterfly actually. The other butterfly items are kind of bulky for my taste, or are just designed in a style that I don't usually use. As for the tea items, while a cute concept, are other items I likely won't use.
