Favorite Zantarni Feature is definitely the forums, but I really like the avatars and profiles. Also, the town looks really nice. :]
•forums: I like Beer Hall, Zan chat, and Edingtol Gates the most.
•dream avatar creator / personal wardrobe: I am always in my personal wardrobe. I don't use the dream avatar creator, but I have a feeling other users really appreciate that feature.
•avatar edit (hairdresser, eye change, etc.): I always edit my avatar's appearance, and the hairdresser is always kept busy when Im around. haha
•Zantarni trader: Very rarely do I bother, but I think they are the source of income for most zantarnians.
•Zantarni Black Marketplace or user shops: Im sure everyone scans these every few minutes, as do I.
•Auction House: I enjoy this feature.
•Battle system: I don't usually bother.
•Zantarni Games(the ZG-earning ones): Don't usually, but I would assume that would be another source of income for newer users.
•Games (non-ZG earning games): Never
•Profile page: I really like the profiles. I am always scanning people's mugs. :]
•Zantarni Quests: What quests? o.o
•Mining and Fishing: Rarely
•Deeds and Crimes: Only on full moons. (not really, but I don't usually bother)
•Forging and Weaponsmith (using the materials gathered by mining & fishing): Not at all
•Zantarni Houses: Not at all
•Guilds: I would hope to see these be given more attention from users, but I don't
•Zantarni's Growable Pets: I don't bother
•Top Avatar Weekly "battle": I don't vote.
•the Karma system: I don't know what it's for. 
•Jobs: eh... not often.
•Art Gallery: I like to browse. :]

Continued from the answer to the last question - I love the forums, avatars and events most - to me, they all complete each other to help keep the interest in the site. Conversation (forum), personality (avatar) and fun (event). They are essential to each other. <3
- forums: do you have a favorite forum? Market Place
- dream avatar creator / personal wardrobe Use both. Normally I try to make an outfit in my wardrobe... fail... and use the avi creator to save myself.
- avatar edit (hairdresser, eye change, etc.) Used with every outfit.
- Zantarni trader: selling ore, fish, clothing items Always use this after fishing/mining.
- Zantarni Black Marketplace or user shops Both. The Black Market makes it easier to find items, versus searching through every single thread. The market place shops though helps with haggling, or trading items for items/gems for items/whatever. Things you can't do in the black market without rounds of PMs.
- Auction House This is my sneaky ninja place that I love to visit for good deals and often gives me ideas for items to use with certain outfits.
- Battle system: including training, healing, etc.Love battling, don't like the system. Don't use training any more, don't use healing either.
- Zantarni Games: the ZG-earning ones Don't use them.
- Games: non-ZG earning games Don't use them.
- Profile page Check it daily, love to use it for my art stuffs.
- Zantarni Quests LOVE the quests! Something extra to do that's different from mining, fishing, forging, battling, etc.
- Mining and Fishing Prefer fishing but I do both. They are great ways to earn extra gold and it's something to do.
- Deeds and Crimes Sometimes I'll fool with it, sometimes I won't. It is also a good way to make extra gold.
- Forging and Weaponsmith (using the materials gathered by mining & fishing) Don't use either unless specified items are necessary for quests or something.
- Zantarni Houses Non-existent to me.
- Guilds Also non-existent to me. Courtesy of Gaia Online, I feel like guilds are a waste of time.
- Zantarni's Growable Pets LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!
- Top Avatar Weekly "battle" Love this too! It's wonderful to be able to see everyone's creativity and it makes way for great ideas for my own avatars!
- the Karma system Another non-existent to me.
- Jobs Never really done much with that...
- Art Gallery I really like this. A great way to express ones art without having to make shop. It's awesome to see what people can do/like to do with their artistic natures!

To get my avatar to match the clothes I put on her/him the way I like it, I go to hairdresser and sometimes even change genders or race.

I only use this to sell ore and fish. I put clothing in the Black Market.

Yes, a lot.

Rarely due to not many users bidding, most can just wait til the very last moment to get their last bid in at lowest price.

Nah, it's too much of a hassle for me without the usage of weapons to increase critical chances.

No cause I don't understand quite a few of them and it's hard for me to play them cause they got way too fast for me.

Rarely. When I do, it's usually Tetris.

I used to all the time but still do when I need a few extra coin here and there or if the quest calls for it.

Nah, too much of a hassle cause it involves going to the battle system to get the courage back and it just takes too long.

As you know, I'm mostly a lurker...I stop in a few threads (your Chat, and a couple within the Beer Hall). I used to do deeds and forage, but they got boring. I never understood the battle system, and the Games room seemed overwhelming, so I never really explored it.

Forums: I mostly hang out in Zanchat, Beer Hall, and the event forum whenever we have one. I haven't been posting so much lately since I've been busy, but those forums always feel open to me. I consider them to be the heart and soul of Zantarni.
Dream avatar/personal wardrobe: I love them, and I always use the Dream Avatar when something new comes out.
Avatar edit: I don't use this as much, but I love this as well.
Zantarni trader: I use it all the time to sell fish.
Black Marketplace/user shops: ...we have usershops?  News to me. I sometimes use the Black Marketplace to see if there's a cheap shop item, but usually I just get items from the main shops or Smugglers' Shop.
Auction House: I've sold and bought something once. That's it.
Battle system: I was really into it at one point, but in the end I only trained enough to be able to work the best-paying job. Too bad, because this was one of the things that made Zantarni different from other avatar sites. It didn't help that the supposable equip-able weapons... well, weren't. Or that you had to have full energy if you didn't want training to take forever.
ZG Games: I never play them. Too much time, energy and effort for too little gold.
Non-ZG games: Never. One of the features we can do without. There's far better sites out there for that.
Profile page: I don't really use it.
Quests: I love them, and think they're very important to Zantarni.
Mining/Fishing: When I'm not posting, I'm doing this. Fishing is my main source of income!  I used to mine, but between getting much less wood and not having any use of the refined materials I stopped.
Deeds/Crimes: This is how I level up. I'm only going to do this until I max out my Energy though.
Forging/weaponsmith: I don't use it anymore. Too bad, because I like the idea of making my own stuff. It's unique when it comes to avatar sites.
Houses: I took one look and never returned.
Guilds: I don't use them.
Growable Pets: Same as for non-ZG games. I only have the link in my sig because I've had them so long. It doesn't help that Zan's system is, to be frank, bad.
Top Avatar: I don't use it.
Karma: It was a bit fun to max it out, but that's it.
Jobs: I use it to get some extra gold, but I don't think it's necessary to Zantarni.
Art Gallery: I don't draw, so I don't use it.

What is your favorite Zantarni feature?
I don't know if this counts, but it's my avatar. I love being able to customize her in every way. Totally my favorite thing about the site. (Even though her ears got cut off.  )
What Zantarni feature do you think is most essential to the well-being of the site? Why?
Anything that has to do with items. That is what people like. I think that is the draw of avatar forum sites. The base avatars need to look good (which these do) and they need good items (which Zan has). Plus trade, gems and gold are a big thing (which also has to do with items, of course). People like having rare things and being able to be "elite" or have the feeling of being so. Unfortunately it's also a bad thing because then we have inflation and blah blah blah... but I digress.
I also think the quests are becoming very important to this site. They give something to do, raise activity on the site and make people more interested so they keep coming back and (hopefully) invite friends.
So... do you come to chat most of all (forums)? Or do you spend most of your time in the Dream Avatar Creator? ... perhaps stalking the Black Market or the Auction House for deals? Do you come to do battle? If so, do you use the 'healer' feature?
When I have time to do so, I chat in the forums. My time on Zantarni is mostly spent lurking forums, foraging, forging,and debating whether or not I should sell (x) item.
- Also, when I battle (rarely) I don't use the healer. Costs too much.
Zantarni's features:

- I hardly use the dream avi feature at all... Love my wardrobe. Wouldn't mind being able to sort things myself or be able to save outfits.

- The trader could probably sense me coming by now. I'm one of his best customers. (We should totally have a trader NPC/art btw)

- I check the black market a lot. Especially when I am looking to buy something the smuggler once had or want something from the shops at a steal.

- I like to check it every now and then.

- I play now and then when there is nothing else to do. I am not very good at them.

- I love my profile... though it is sometimes difficult to edit.

Love love love! Even though sometimes I get lost and find them difficult, they are fun and amazing. KEEP!

- I have never been one for this sort of thing... tried it, failed. Not interested. Sorry.

- I like the idea of having the top rated avatars... but (and I mean no offense in anything I say hereafter) I pretty much see more or less the same avatars over and over despite their appearance... really seems like more of a glorified popularity contest, imho. But I suppose there's nothing that can be done about that.

- An interesting feature and I like it... though I have been maxed out on karma for quite a while though... perhaps if there was more to it or ways you can use said karma...

More appropriate zg earning games would be a bliss, franl;y most of what I do and thin is reflected on the first page from Turtle-sensei's feeback ^^
Zanny just needs a lot of readjustements but what is mostly essential is probably the forums and the avatar stuff\dress -up

LOL! Silvery, that is probably the understatement of the year... but, we're working on it!
Thanks to everyone who's posting feedback. It is interesting to discover the "real use" of some of these features, half-done though many of them are!
Please keep the feedback coming - you'll get a chance to post specific suggestions later (or add to the massive heap of things already posted in the feedback forum (although much of what's there is stuff that we're working on  ))

I am not the greatest conversationalist, but I love to tell stories so I naturally head for the "Heroes Relm" to socialize. Next would be the "Market Exchange."
The Avatar system is one-half of what makes Zantarni great for me, it takes it beyond a basic forum. I like collecting the items to personalize my avi.Which leads to the second-half of what makes Zantarni great for me; the quests and foraging/item creation system. It takes it another step up, making it different from other avatar forums while the trader offers a way to make a small amount of money.
That's several of the features, but I feel like they are closely related. Also, I use many of the other features, and enjoy them just as well, such as profiles and signatures. While they may not be central to my enjoyment of Zantarni, the deeds and jobs have played a significant part in creating an environment in Zantarni for me.
I liked the thought of the pets, especially as they can become equipable items, but I have not been active enough to get anywhere with it.
The features I really don't use/care least about would be the games, housing, and guilds. Not that I am particularly against any of them, but I get everything I want from the aforementioned features so I never visit them.

Rav likes the purtyful things to dress up in!
because of that, we use the fishing/mining features a lot. but the thing that is most necessary to the health of Zantarni is...the forums.
with lots of announcements and events!PS, i love the new background and the banners. and also the fact that they haven't stayed the same for very long!

you can sell clothing items to the trader? i didnt know that. but i think that the trader is a good thing. gold is more special when you have to earn it, even it you only have to click on something.

yay, shiny stuff and fishies!
yes, we use this as our primary means of getting gold. people say the easiest way to get gold is to post, but i've never gotten more than 5 zg for one post (unless its made artificially long by a pre-provided list, like this one)
Deeds and Crimes
again, we used these (actually, just the deeds) to level up, but never since then.
Forging and Weaponsmith (using the materials gathered by mining & fishing)
we only forge to get a better price at the trader, and for quests. if the weapons were a bit more stylish, we might make use of the weapon smith, but otherwise: meh.
Zantarni Houses
never used. too much work for too little reward.
Guilds
i joined one, but it died before i met anyone through it.../sad

i like the shiny colors, but they take a loooong time to grow and i dont have enough room in my siggy for the link

we go and vote sometimes, but after a while it just keeps cycling back to the same people over and over, so i dont like it too much. it is a good way to see other people's outfits, though.
