I'm not sure about the best way to put this, so I'm just going to say it... as of this moment, we can not pay Zantarni's server fee this month - there simply isn't enough in the account.
So, I know it's probably weird to consider buying gems when there are no DIs available and we're not even sure when that might change, but Zantarni needs a little more financial support this month. As soon as possible, really... before we start accruing late fees (which are fairly substantial and will start hitting the 14th, I believe).
Going forward (this month included), if you guys want, I can re-release older items as DIs, if that helps inspire your financial support of the site...
But let's get this taken care of first, huh?
If you buy gems to support the site, please let me or Scarz know so that we can make sure the gems you bought are credited to your account so you can use them in the future

I know it's been ages since I have posted actively on this site, but I can see that there is still a small dedicated family here. I would hate to see this go down!!
Perhaps a re-release of some fancy yorriks wings or even some neat ol' forgotten seasonal pieces?

I would love to see a few older items back, I never got the chance at some of the mod tops and fancy wings back in the day! Most definitely would peak some interest!

I know the citizen marketplace isn't used often, but I added a bunch of older items (my doubles) with some reasonable prices in gold coins 
some are past orb weapons that are just too awesome not to share!

Oh SNAP! Some of those are items I wanted for years. Sadly, I do not have the gold coins to purchase what I want. Would you be willing to trade that lvl 4 staff for an item or a gem?
Edit: nevermind. Not 100% sure what happened, but I will say thank you to my mystery hero!

How are the server fees going for this month? I'd like to help out if I can. Just got my daughter to join today, waiting on her verification e-mail so that she can start exploring around, def would love to see this place stay around for a bit longer even if I've been pretty elusive. ♥

The server fees for this month have been paid, and although there's a little more in the account right now than there was when I first posted this announcement, the next bill will be posted in a couple of weeks, and we're not exactly running on surplus funds... which has been the norm for a long, long, long time now.
So yes, Keres, your help would be appreciated and go towards the next bill. Just let me or Scarz know so we can make sure you get the gems you've purchased by doing so

Also, in the nature of true transparency, I have been wanting to create another thread just for the ongoing conversation about what's going on here, and have just been too busy and otherwise preoccupied. Every time I think I can catch a breath, something else seems to happen iRL... or I just don't sleep for a couple of days, which messes up everything else (like my ability to think clearly or be productive iRL)...
... but, right now, a quick status:
- the server fees for this month have been paid, as mentioned in my previous post; but it's time to start thinking about the next bill
- we are working on getting new DIs put together and released to you guys, but iRL seems to be throwing our pixelist for a bit of a loop, and they're delayed...
- we should have a conversation about releasing older items as DIs (maybe not every month, but perhaps once in a while), but I have been thrown too many monkey wrenches iRL recently to have the conversation, or to commit my time and energy to doing potential recolors for the older items, for this use.
- is doing something like this necessary?
- is doing this wanted?
- will this matter, to you guys, in terms of supporting the site?
There's probably more we, as a community, should discuss, but I can't think of anything at the moment.
However, we should probably consider this conversation Open at this point.
Ask questions.

Aight I can def help out to the best of my abilities. Once I finish up this reply I'll be heading over to the Gems for donations to purchase 30$ worth (not sure how much it costs for the monthly bill, but I should be able to help out again in another 2 weeks after rent and such is paid ♥)

It's good to see you as well, I hope all has been well in the midst of all the busy daily life.
Kiddo is excited to join, I just introduced her to the world of avatar chat forums. She's having a lot of fun with them so far.
I do believe we'll need some help confirming her account though. If I remember correctly some e-mail sites were a tad troublesome with receiving the registration e-mail. I had her check her inbox and her spam/junk folder again tonight when I got home from work a short bit ago and we still haven't seen it yet. We do have her using Gmail for her e-mail stuff. Either way, I can inbox you if you need me to, for whatever info you'll need so that she can log in and such.
I've got the next couple of days off from work, so I'll keep a watchful eye out.

As soon as I can get PayPal to cooperate with me, I will be buying $30 worth of gems as well. Of course it wants to be a pain right now. Once I get it to work, I'll let you know.
For myself personally, I would like to use the gems I buy on something eventually, but to be honest I'm not in the biggest rush. IRL stuff always seems to come in huge waves, so it's completely understandable. I'm just happy to help out in whatever way I can.

Keres - just send either me or Scarz your daughter's account information and we'll get it confirmed for her.
LOL... yes, iRL stuff seems to come in waves, and it seems like all I'm doing lately is surfing them, one after the other, after the other ... if I ever get a break (another wave has just hit for me iRL), I'll try to get some new pixels put together for you guys while our (real) pixelist finishes up the sets she's currently working on (amid her own surfing of the waves)...
