Thank you, I honestly don't mind if I get back half of what I paid. I'm purchasing a bigger doll but by the time I get her, I should have a spot to hide her safely cause she's an LE..
glanced at the other small doll and thinking in the long run, the bigger doll would be the better investment out of the two..

Limited edition.
Only 40 of her being made, but only two places selling her.. had the choice of mermaid or human, took the human version cause I don't know how to string BJDs and the mermaid is double the price. {didn't like the mermaid}
The other place had sold out and I had to wait a few weeks to order her from the other site. There's like five LEs and I know tons of people have posted about purchasing one, the site still has them listed, I'm paying installments. I picked Lorelei:
I also have a wig, dress and shoes picked out. I am hoping to pay with the credits I get from her for those.

Actually, I'm getting her. :3 I had the choice of Lorelei, Crystal and Ula. Really like Ula but Lorelei took my fancy.
The smaller doll I had interest in was Chloe but if I ever decide I do want her, cause she would be a whole lot cheaper since she's not LE, I could easily save up and purchase her outright but there is a larger version of another doll named Chloe, so I have two options but I might wait a bit to see what happens cause those dolls could be available for awhile.

All companies are bringing out new dolls all the time so by the time I am ready to make another purchase, there could be another Chloe doll out that takes my fancy.
Wheres I can't get the LE doll again unless someone lists one up for sale but that will be more than the price I am paying for now. And I kind of shudder of purchasing BJD's secondhand. I do have one or two second hand dolls in the States but I was able to handle those dolls before purchase cause we got them from an auction near where I live, one was an older bride doll, I was so chuffed to get my hands on her.

BJD's are suppose to be harder than regular collector dolls but I assume since most sites sell spare parts that yes, they could come damaged. Just some items I get iffy about buying second hand, I don't purchase game systems second hand, all mine expect ones that were found and never claimed were brand new. Through, I had bought some of the more harder to find games second hand.

I can understand that.
I'm kinda a big second hand type person but that comes with not having a job at times. I know a lot of my clothes where second hand from my mom, she had pretty stuff though. I get a lot of books and video games second hand too. The only exception is pokemon games (most of the time I got one or two that where one offs that didn't do well at all as second hand.) _________________ Moon's Youtube//Blog

Books I always buy second hand, and I have purchased a few cds second hand too through quite a few were gifted to me from my friend.
My clarinet was second hand, my mom wasn't thrilled I went second hand for it but the prices for new ones were too high.

Some times I want something specific and can't get it second hand. I rarely have the means to order online. Plus I have a thing for those nicely bound classics that Barns and Nobles has. I try and get one or two of those for every birthday. (Or Christmas if pokemon comes out on my birthday.)
Oh yes musical instruments are pricy. _________________ Moon's Youtube//Blog

I know that feeling, there's been times I had to wait a few weeks to locate something second hand cause no one was selling. I remember purchasing a few Babysitter Club videos second hand but growing up, most of my toys and stuff didn't come from second hand shops. I didn't start purchasing second hand till after I left school and didn't buy second hand clothing till I came across here cause my mom was against it but now, she looking into purchasing second hand clothing. -she tried on the two dresses I bought second hand, both are wonderful dresses-
