This is just a quick note to let everyone know that Zukyun and I made some adjustments to the Mining, Fishing and Deeds systems.
The number of times you can Mine or Fish, or the number of Deeds you can do at one time has been dropped. This means that you can do fewer at one time now before taking a "break" from Mining, Fishing or pushing over little old ladies 
We believe that the adjustments to these site features will support our previous efforts to further stabilize the Realm and its economy, helping Zantarni on numerous levels. As always, we will continue to monitor and evaluate these systems and the recent changes made to them, as well as keeping an eye on all aspects of the site, working to better it on the whole.

That explains why I got the canary death earlier thank usual!
I think it will be for the best. I do like having lots of riches, but not at the cost (pun not intended) of making the economy worse. I have seen too many websites and games fall into the inflation trap. People turn so needlessly greedy.

Apples still have their use, it's just that you can do less mining/fishing/deeds before you hit the cap now.

Ah, I just asked since I'm maxed out on Energy at 700 and hit the cap long before I run out of Energy. I guess apples still have a use for people under that?

you could use your apples for if you want to fight more in the collusim to gain more experiance :3
or if you wanted to bring your energy up so that you can train faster.

ah I can see how that may be if you are all leveled out. but even if you are maxed out in expericance, I would think battling in the colusium would be good, because from time to time, the kills drop good, they may not bee the best priced items, but they do add up over time. that's where I ussualy spend all my extra energy when i'm waiting to be able to mine or fish again.

Ahh. My mule is going to be unhappy that he's being put to use again. I've been just hanging out on my main account.
I liked getting gold quickly, but I understand how it may have been too easy. Ah well. Easy come, easy go. I can accept that.

I'm just hoping the change encourages more posting. It's pretty sad to see the forums stagnant most of the time =x
D: I will miss the easy cash though, won't deny it. (Not entirely sure I even profit off of mining anymore. I'll look into that...when I feel like it.)

Exactly... and exactly!
It was far too easy to gain gold through these features... and not enough incentive to post. This has been working against site on the whole. And, as I'm sure many of you are aware, we have been adjusting the payouts on these features (on a much more subtle level) over the last several months, but it was time to quit "playing" and to just drop them to a more realistic level.
We could go through and also drop everyone's training and experience levels to something that better matches the current maximums on Fishing, Mining and Deeds as well, but frankly, I'd rather not have to spend the additional time hunting down that code and those details...
Besides, as you say, Fae - maybe this will give the mules a better chance to come out and play!

Honestly I don't mind the current max being over the mining/fishing cap, becasue when I reach there, it would give me extra anergy to be able to use at the culisim, and such.

Or people will still just mine the lower amount then go facebook. Posting still only earn maybe 5-15 gold each time, or none seeing as I like the game forum.
We need a senior citizen home, I only harressed 13 grannies today!
