I decided to make a hangout over here. I'll pretty it up eventually, going to reserve a post or tvvo for future use first though.

Nah, I like the name of the thread as it is. The alliteration works for me.
I just wondered if there would be a main topic of conversation, or weekly topics, or if it would be a free for all. It's good to know these things when you're in someone else's house.

I can hear fireworks going off. I can't believe they are having fireworks. I know it's New Year's and all, but it's 20 degrees out! And the wind is howling! I can't imagine why anyone would want to watch fireworks while freezing to death.

SPEAKING OF VVATCHING FIREVVORKS VVHILE FREEZING TO DEATH
I did just that over an hour ago. xD It's my boyfriend's birthday [1st not 31st] so he vvas setting off firevvorks here vvhile the little one spent some time vvith his parents vvatching firevvorks over there.

So, how was it? (Besides cold. )
Fireworks are illegal where I live, so there aren't too many home showings. I did get to see fireworks at a friend's house once when I was a teenager...her father was a state trooper, and they were confiscated from people trying to bring them over the state lines.
