I adore all the sets, though I am rather fond of the sovereign set. It just goes with the avatars I make more, I think.

The Performer set is my favorite.
The bright and muted colors work wonderfully together, it also makes it easier to mix and match.
Plus it has many of my favorite colors that I like to work with.

Looks like another month with sets that I like but probably won't use unfortunately. D:
The only item that I would really see myself using is the Sovereign Crown. *shrugs* Like I've been saying for a while, I think I just miss the wings and more whimsical sets of year's past. The last few months haven't been aimed in that direction.
Oh well. If this type of theme keeps people donating and it keeps Zantarni afloat, I'm happy.
They are nice items pixelists! Keep up the good work. _________________

These remind me more of event items then DI's. Over all I'm not all that interested in them. -though I'll still end up getting them sometime- _________________ Moon's Youtube//Blog

@Phoenix: For myself, I don't have a particular favourate set or one that I think suits my style, unfortunately. But I do like the arrows in the sovereign set...with that whole set actually, I can't help but feel like it sort of has a 'Brave' feel to it, with the royal female archer items in there.
@Daku: I quite like the bright colours in the performer set as well. The way the hat is designed with the colours, kind of remind me of stained glass.
@Dusty: I think I'm in the same boat as you. While I don't dislike the sets, I don't have any particular favourates in them. I do quite like the accessories though, the bow and arrows in the sovereign set especially.
As I said last month, I also would like to see more whimisical items, but if the current sets are what is good for Zantarni then I won't complain either
@Moon: I can kind of see what you're saying, in that I wish they were a bit more extravagantly designed... though I am the type to like a lot of flowiness and embellishment in my items. Is the design what you were talking about when you said they reminded you of EI's, or something else? _________________

The clothing themselves remind me of event items that have already been released like the wintergreen set. Crowns are also pretty common event items and the weapons are very simple. _________________ Moon's Youtube//Blog

@Amurita: That was one of my first thoughts on the performer set as well. I love stained glass. Honestly I've been thinking of drawing my avi in a way that it would look like stained glass, all thanks to this set.. If only I had time to play with art.
The other sets do remind me of event items as well, but they really are wonderfully designed. I just don't foresee myself using the other sets. At least not as much as I would with the performer set.

@Moon: Now that you mention it, the sovereign top is similar. I have also noticed with some pants in general that they have been made in very similar styles/shapes. Though, I think it may be due to the fact that the clothing is made by the same group of pixelists that are limited to a particular time frame, and so it's hard to always find ways to make new pants. Personally, I know that I hate having to find references when doing art, but if people could find some different style of medieval/fantasy clothing and post it in the Item Suggestion Thread maybe it could help give some more inspiration to our pixelists :]
@Daku: Oh, that would be a great idea to draw your avi like that. That reminds me, there was this contest entry someone made before of Yorick in stained glass and it was pretty awesome... Found it here! _________________

Europe isn't the only place they could pull from if they are trying to stick to a single time period. _________________ Moon's Youtube//Blog

That's true. I know that occasionally some more asian-inspired clothing is made as well, but I think that when we think of medieval we're probably just too used to associating it with europe. _________________

@Amurita: It sounds really fun to do! lol I remember seeing that entry, it's great.
It seems like we have just few French, Scottish, Irish and German styles. They could be expanded for more styles.

I will admit that off-hand I had no idea what variations of style there would be in medieval clothing from those regions. But after doing a quick image search, I could see that there really is some variation in the cut, flow and types of material they use. _________________

*Nods* Each area has their own unique twist on the style and color so it should be fairly easy to expand on the few styles we have now for different regions. Of course that may mean studying styles..
