I'M ALIVE!!
And I've made a few small steps for J-rock fans everywhere. Not only did I get my slightly racist mother to admit that Gackt has an awesome, other worldly voice, we listened to Gackt CDs for over six hours on the drive home from Texas!

That's great Sharingan!!! Of course it's hard to get others to admit to things that are universal truths though. So I'm proud to hear that! I wish I could get my bithfather to do that...

It's taken me years to get her to admit it. I've liked and listened to Gackt since I was like 14 or 15, so she had to deal with it.
Plus my mom is my mom, a woman, it might be harder to get a straight man to admit it.
Though, I had to drive my uncle somewhere and I had Gackt playing and he's like "your taste in music is really weird.." I almost yelled "Gackt is not weird!" but didn't.
If he doesn't come around, he doesn't come around. It just means he's seriously missing out.
