Nepin'Rith grabbed a hold of Assdrias' and and said, "This way to go and get those gems, I know right where to look, You don't worry, we will be there in no time and then I will be able to gather the rest of what i am going to wear. After that we shall return to here. Shall we then?"

"We shall." Replied Assdria. "I love gems, they are so very pretty. I wonder what these gems will be used for, as they seem to be very rare." Assdria smiled and started to walk along with Nepin'Rith and all the while she walk telling Nepin'Rith about all of the different typed of Gems that she had encountered. The colors, the shapes, the cuts, and event he tastes of them. Assdria was quite versed in the different typed if gems and stones. So these blue phoenix gems had her very curious.

Keres smiles delightfully and chuckled a bit as she takes back the cloth from which Alric had apoligized profusly about messing up and getting soot all over it. crumples it up in her hand, rubs it together in a very gentle fasion and grasps a hold of it with her fingers and thumbs real quick and shakes the cloth out. "See Sir Alric, good as new again. No soot and fresh smelling it has ever been. Aso for this turnip collector you speak of, I have not hear this tale or person yet. Though it does sound quite interesting."
As Blue Aproached her Keres, Nodded quickly to Sit Alric and said, "yes may we see each other in passing dear Sir." She turned to Blue and said, "Well, I al ready to go fishing again friend, and I see you are ready as well." She smiled aqnd started to talk towards the lake of Meryze.

I have to agree, I really like this fasion of event, we can really get right down and imerse ourselves into it while casually giveing away our own hints to people. not to mention My eyes are not swimming evey where this time. And I find it so much more enjoyable. Thank you all so far.

"Hey Sir Alric, mighty fine to see you here again already." She grinned broadly and chuckled little bit. "Will you be fishing as well? Perhapse we shall see you down there."
A little amused by what Keres had just done with the cloth after Sir Alric had used it she says to Keres, "My that is quite an inteteresting thing you can do there, I haven't seen you do that before. Though I have seen you pull so many things out of that little pouch of yours that shouldn't even fit into it. Like really How do you do that. It kind of leaves me a little confused, suprised and amused. You put fresh food in there and a month later you pull out that same piece of food and it is the exact same way it was to begin with. fresh fish and fruit. Yumm, Wish I knew how you did it. any other time with food in any other bag it just simply goes bad."

Kio turned to Keres and smiled. "I think the poor guy is just stressed out," she said, looking back. "The nobles here are usually really nice."
She happened to catch Alric looking like he cheered up and grinned. It somehow made her feel better too.

Amurita ponders the current discussion occuring right now. "Hmm...I've noticed that besides the opening demand for items he's made, Sir Alric has always been quite courteous to me. Of course, he's always been bitter toward Bernadette though.
I agree it may be the stress of having to organize the event that's getting to him, but I do notice that if you try to be nice to him he tries to be the same in return. Maybe if we all just shower him in kindness, he'll be a little less snooty!" Amurita finishes with a sly grin.
((@Ivy and Keres: I'm glad you both are enjoying this format to the quests. We wanted to find a way to approach the quests a bit differently this time so I'm glad you guys like it so far!))

Finally having gathered the items Bernadette had requested, Alric slowly makes his way to Bernadette’s house. He had a tiring day: getting caked in filth down in the mines then washing that all off after falling in the water at the lake. And then the search for those rare items. He had to search all over Edingtol for them. He had to first find the right people for those gems and then they led him straight to the lair of the blue phoenix. He wasn’t sure how but he somehow got the gems without a single hair being singed. And then that turnip. It almost felt like he had to go to a distant world for that one and he still wasn’t sure if what he saw was real or just an illusion. Passing some citizens still working to get the items for the coronation he begins to wonder how it was for them to complete their tasks.
When he finally makes it to the old woman’s home he hears her call for him to bring the items to the back.

Various items are strewn about the room: Elixers and potions of every colour; sparkling stones; open tomes and scrolls; but most of all turnips. Peeled, chopped, ground and whole.
“There must be a reason for this. The Spirits always have a reason. Always.” Bernadette murmurs in front of a sizzling cauldron.

“Bernadette, I...have brought your items.” Alric says quietly while observing the woman. Hearing no response, he repeats himself: “Bernadette, I-”

Bernadette blinks a few times before moving to the newly arrived supply of items. She proceeds to sort through it with her cane before she replies. “I said that I would ‘attempt’ it, and that takes time. It all depends on the will of the Spirits.” The woman becomes entranced by the items, no longer paying heed to Alric. “Yes the Spirits. And the turnips. Yes, they know it all.”

Anger fills Alric, causing any thoughts of caution to be thrown out the door.
“We had a deal, Witch! After all that you have done... what you did to my Father...I knew I could not trust you!”
Alric quickly turns and storms out of the house.
