I am alive, sort of: I now have a full time job and am working full time. I teacher English as a second language in public schools and I enjoy it quite a bit. I feel slightly old because the kids are all over technology and I get it, but it feels like they are missing opportunities to be calm and cellphone less.
I love using technology in the classroom as well, but it's not easy gibing classes when we are missing resources. I wish I had a budget to buy things other than my own personal money. I made posters for the classroom and hmm I might put up some student work if they consent and all.
I miss RPying and being online more, but life happened.
I hope you guys are still participating, it calms me to go through my inventory and make outfits. I miss drawing too!

That's awesome, Silvery! Yeah, I feel like I was pretty lucky growing up. I had a technology-less childhood (for the most part). Internet was dial up and cell phones were old flip phones. Now that I'm older, I enjoy the awesomeness of technology, but I also know how to have that calmness and tech-free time.
I'm down for an RP if you feel like it. I'm not in any rush and I don't feel the need to log on every day to post in it.
I love making outfits for avatars.  When I get into it, I easily spend over an hour playing around with themes and color schemes.

I understand what you mean about the budget >_< You want to give them so much but you've only got so much to give. Have you looked into getting a grant? They used to have some for such purposes and some you don't even have to pay back!
Are you still wanting to get art done for your current avi? You are looking rather snazzy right now :3

@Riley: I try and enjoy time off the grid and just read a book in silence, it feels amazing. I will most likely do that in an hour or so!
Hmm, I haven't RPed in so long, I wonder if I still got the touch haha I used to role play as Harry Potter characters such as Severus and Remus.
@Kiyo: yes of course, although I just changed it for a nice silver and orange look, either one would be awesome, I miss getting art done :3
I kept art all these years and I still enjoy going through the different avatars I had done.
I wish Zanny was just a little more active though...

I just came back a couple of days before you after being gone for a long time as well, so I can relate do life happening. I got busy with college and finally graduated. Now I need to find a full time job myself  . Not a fun time.
I haven't roleplayed in ages either, though I never did it much on here. I was always too shy to do it unless it was 1x1. Now I regret that.

Well we could try and create an interesting RP about something we both like? I keep talking about Harry Potter because I know the world of those characters a lot more than say any other fantasy novel...Otherwise, we can create new characters!

No, my mule is an account that hasn't been used in a while. It's actually kind of funny because I've been chatting with Riley since I came back  .
I actually used to roleplay Harry Potter characters quite often too. One of my usual ones was Remus, which is a coincidence. I also have lists and lists of characters I've created over the years. We could definitely talk about it more and figure something out, though!

I see my character as a middle-aged man. I have a few friends who do have glorious beards!
