I suppose I should consider myself...lucky? that I wasn't in a state like earlier in the semester, where I drank 3 schooners at the pub, followed by a bottle of wine at home, all in 2 hours, wasn't tired or drunk (although I should have been done in  ), but it took me until 3am to realise that I was in agony. I had a fun 36 hours that day. 
But yeah, everything is due next week and...I just want a break. Hopefully Friday next week I can go visit my friend and his wife and get cuddles from their little man. Something at least to look forward to.

When am most stressed, I appear on zanny haha. Feels like it is just easy to talk, I don't offend anyone by being honest and I don't need to hold back what makes me angry.
I especially love the even items this event, they are all awesome <3
I am not super good when it comes to chit chat, but I want to know how everyone is doing?
I miss the time when life wasn't so busy. I keep telling my students to cherish the time they have without real responsibilities hehe

I just have to get through next week. Then I have a two week "break" to study for my exams. Then there is like...6 weeks? I think before uni starts again. Maybe closer to 3 months. 
Annnnnnnnnd, I really need to get upstairs to my lab. *nurses her pot of tea for a little while longer*

You got this! I am only trying to get through all the corrections I have to do c.c Some of my students have terrible handwriting so I have to recheck some answers...which is annoying haha.
I honestly wish I was back in university some days. I am less in touch with how students get so easily bored. I feel like I am getting old even if I am not really.
Do you guys feel old sometimes? At 31, it feels like I am someone completely different, yet exactly the same.

Silvery-I feel old quite a bit, but I'm almost 40. At other times, but not very often anymore, I don't feel any different than I did as a teenager. I can only imagine how someone who hasn't lived a hard life might always feel really young.

Yeah...(sorry about talking about my students so much)my students are athletes that worked hard to be in this program, but they all have iphones and branded stuff...I look at my old cellphone and my clothes that some still date back from high school, and I wonder how spoiled they are, but really if they understand that they have it pretty easy in this world.

I don't think it is negative Silvery, it's more realistic. But then again, we've already experienced life in various degrees and we understand that the bank of mum and dad isn't always going to be there and we need to learn to stand on our own two feet eventually. The earlier we learn that the better off we'll be.

Money is one thing, chores are another. I remember when I first got out on my own and I wondered who was going to do everything. Then I realized it was me. I remember my boyfriend at the time asking me if I was ever going to put the stuff on the counter away. He was a jerk, and he could have helped since he lived there too, but him saying that did wake me up.

Okay, I am done with today. 50 minutes until I get to go home.
I hate silly season at work...
Silvery: Don't feel bad for talking about your students, I used to do what you do (teaching English) and I had some pretty great moments with the kids I was teaching. 
All you can do is do your best and impart as much knowledge as you possibly can on them. Trust me, they will appreciate it later in life.
I still get messages from some of my students, even though I have been living on the other side of the world for over 4 years now. Most of the messages come out of the blue and are in the manner of: "I was doing such and such and it reminded me of you - how you once told me such and such." It's a great feeling to know that you made a difference in someone's life.
