If it comforts you, I'm still doing my masters degree and I enrolled on it in 2008/09. 
I'm finding it really hard to finish my thesis for some reason. And I have a friend who finished her 4 years a month ago and she enrolled one year before me on our basic studies (I enrolled at 2004/05).
So some people just need time. I think that's normal.

I'm trying.
And I think it wouldn't be this hard if I hadn't chosen a topic that requires a lot of research.
And my friend had a few circumstances that made it hard for her. Her mom and sister died. She had to take a year off, which is when she caught up with me. Then she had to fend for herself, so she had to work. She's also a very meticulous person, so if she didn't feel confident that she was completely prepared, she didn't take the exams. In our school system, you have five exam periods and you can choose in which one you'll take a particular exam. You can also pass a year without passing all of your exams. You can just leave a few for your next year.

Mine was I couldn't get my mom to do **** so I kept not being able to go. I told her again and again I needed her information for the application because it was used for instate tuition and she didn't do anything. Then she waited to a week before so I only got one class the second semester after I had graduated.
Then she kicked me out and I lost another semester. 6 prep classes and not being able to transfer 4 art classes killed my time also.

I'm very sorry to hear that Moon. But like I said, some people just need more time. For one reason or another. I don't think anyone can hold it against you in the future. You should be commended for persevering and not giving up in spite of everything.

I do beleive I recall seeing you around. though I that time I beleive I had just joined the saite and was all over. but your name does ring a bell.

I'm doing fairly well today.
i've started my 2 person art for Neru, this is what I got so far:
The shirt is going to be changed to be the same asa the referance shwe gae in the first post of her thread.
She actually wondering if she will get more art offeres at her give away.
