The archer sat upon her perch as she looked out,
She watched as the townspeople scurried about,
She remembered a day that was much more chaotic,
She still didn't understand what about the situation had driven the town so neurotic.
One that day the glendors came,
People picked sides and began to raise cane,
There were protestors that lead a fight to free the beasts,
But there were also those that caged the dragons roaming the streets,
Both claimed they were right but the small dragons didn't care,
They soon retreated back from whence they came,
They are now only spotted on random occasions,
Except for those that were caught during the invasion,
The archer smiled and patted her pet,
A small black glendor with a sweet disposition,
He helped her keep watch for many a threat,
It was on the archer's first day in these lands which they first met.
They'd seen the second invasion of the glendor's kind together,
It never changed the fact that they were friends forever. _________________
