**NEW ADVENTURE ON PG 3!**
Yesterday, my sweet dragon baby turned 5, so a friend and I took him to go see the Viking exhibit at the Museum of the Rockies (and get pancakes at IHoP)! Figured I'd share pics here for anyone who doesn't have Instagram and/or as a sneak peek of the museum pics since I'm posting those later today.
Posted the images as thumbnails, so you can click the image to open it up full-size if you need to. (Or maybe not. It didn't work when I tested it so idk...I'll try to fix that.)
**Update: Just adding other adventures to this thread so I don't make a new one for every new adventure.

I agree with GorfDaot. . .Wow, what a great way to spend Derpy's Birthday. . .It has been so long since I have been to a museum and this one looks pretty cool.
By the way, if you right click and click on copy image address and then paste it it on the google page and the large pictures come up. . .Derpy looks like he was having a heckuva a good time.
Did Derpy think the dinosaurs were long lost relatives?

Sir Scarz: Ah thanks! I knew there would be a way to make the big images work.
Derpy had a great time! We discussed dinosaurs vs. dragons vs. reptiles and their origins last year when they had a reptile exhibit instead of the Vikings one (pics coming soon? Lol) but he still considers them ancient family and I can't argue with it.
Tam: Ooh, I bet he'd like both of those. Tbh I've been considering buying a lucet since you mentioned them over on Trisphee, but I don't know if I'd actually use it that much. And honestly, I ALMOST bought that Beanie Boo when it came out.
Yoari: Setting up the post was actually pretty easy because the image hosting site I use lets you bulk upload photos and the initial page of uploaded pics lets you select the format you want to share and bulk share. Though after you navigate away from that page, you can only copy one image link at a time.
I love the fossil exhibit so much! Would live there if I could. >.>
But honestly, if any of you decide to visit Montana, hit me up, we'll go to that museum.

LOL I've found that lucet knitting is just NOT my cup of tea, and I bought the dragon for someone I've lost contact with, who isn't keen on dolls anyway. And I like matchmaking people to things, especially dolls. Saffire's not the biggest size, but is very very soft.
Just make sure Derpy knows the lucet's not a yoke for him to pull waggons with.

I will have to keep that in mind if we ever road trip east!
The husband always talks of road trips but I never know what to see along the way (plus we have no where to go right now)

If I ever go, I will try! I like museums. Just wandering... Yeah. The Royal Tyrel's got a room in it with like a glass or resin floor with models of critters in it like they're swimming. It gave me the heebie jeebies the first time I walked in there.
I also love road trips, but now that my brother no longer has a car, they'll have to be saved for carefully.

New adventure today! We went to a little hiking trail relatively close to town. It was pretty fun, but the trail got a bit busy halfway through the hike so that kind of was a pain.
We'll probably go back out later this summer for more pics (and videos!) as we had to skip some that we were planning to do, partly because it was busy on the trail and partly because we needed some stuff we forgot to bring for better filming and setting up pictures/videos.
But here's some of the pics from it! (And may have a stop-motion gif coming soon too and some short videos if my friend sends them to me.)

Who wants a shaky video of Derpy on top of a small waterfall?!?
Because I totally have that!
(Along with a shaky video of Derpy looking out the window and a couple less shaky videos of Derpy on other waterfalls, and a little 3 second clip of rocks and a quick pan up to Derpy while I cuss because I just realized I didn't hit record until after hitting record a second time. )
Am gonna see about uploading more little clips tonight at work. Maybe not the one of me cussing though.

Awwww! Derpy found a Christmas tree his size. I identify with the inner tube shot. I'd have been sticking my toes in the stream.
