Things are festive and fun with our Noel and Marionette DI sets this month!
We also have a special surprise with different recolours of the Xmas wings being available for only a single week each this December.
Note: The Xmas wing recolours were not included in the poll because they haven't all been released yet, and they are more limited than the other DIs, so it's hard to compare them directly. However, feel free to discuss what you think about them in the thread.
So what do you think of this month's items?
 Is there something you particularly liked about them?
Is there something you think could be improved?
What are your thoughts on the approach used for limited release of the recoloured Xmas wings? Would you welcome this kind of limited release with more older items in the future?

So far I am liking the wings. And a big THANK YOU to Sir Scarz for making it possible for me to get the first two weeks wings. 
But I'll have to wait until later this week before I can go nuts and buy the other DIs with gems. And then I can judge them properly.

I like pieces of the Noel set.  And, I LOVE the x-mas wing recolors.
I do find the marionette head a bit scary though... But I've never liked dolls/dol-like things. They give me the creeps.

I wanted to be original about my opinion but it the exact same thing Dusty has previously said...dolls are creeeeepy.
And those recolours *___* I love them. I bought a pair of each!

Even if green and purple are two of my favorite colors, I think I like the golden wings best.
From the other sets, the only thing that really stands out to me is Prancer. Cute little guy.

Yes. Dolls are very creepy. I used to have nightmares about the dolls in my closets attacking me. o.o </3

When I was young I had the fun experience of clowns with porcelain faces... I hid them. As much as I want to like the DI, I really don't like it xD it reminds me of bad moments in my life hahaha...oh childhood, I should have never seen "Chucky" when I was about 6-7 years old...

I voted for the Noel set myself. Like others have said before, prancer is totally adorable <33
I also really like the whole design of the set, it has this sort of classic fantasy look that I've always had a soft spot for. I really like how the cape was designed, though I kind of wish it had a clasp on the hood part. I really like the design of the dress too, a very earthy/natural look to it. I tend not to wear dresses much, but I still really like it. The accessories compliment the rest of the outfit nicely.
As for the marionette set, I like the concept of it, but like Dusty and Silvery, I've never been a big fan of dolls. I think I have to blame Chucky for that too 
I do like marionettes a bit more though, since I do like Pinocchio
As for the Recoloured Xmas wings, at first I was a bit iffy about it. I do like the wings, but when I first saw (well, I guess I'll admit I recoloured a few of them  ), I wasn't sure how I felt about them. I do like how they ended up though, as I see them around the site. All the different colours are pretty nice, though I think I'm torn between blue and gold as favourites.
@Manah: lol, I think that it's because you can't resist the Yorick Gold. The gold in the wings are the same colour scheme as the yorick's, which being one of the rarest/valuable items on the site must make them awesome by association

I am pretty sure that I am open to other older items to be a limited release as recolours. The Xmas Wings worked out well as an item to be recoloured. But it would be fun to guess what other older items would make good recolours. Glendors need not apply though.

My favourite this month is the Noel set, without a doubt. I've already worn some of the pieces, and know that I will be happy to use all of the items. I also agree with all the Prancer fans here -- he is adorable! 
The Marionette set is creative and quirky, but it just isn't to my personal taste. I think I agree with those who feel that dolls like this are too creepy (I've never liked the Icy Queen Mask in the Tailor's Shop, for similar reasons). >____>
The Xmas Wing recolours are all very pretty, and it's been rather nice to see this rare old item get some renewed love! **smiles**
