Devin sees the Shadow Hawk girl walk away from the target. He wondered what she was doing, but he didn't focus on it for long. He was figuring out a way to get the target. He would have to wait until the target leaves the room, so Devin just blended in with everyone else at the party, checking on the target every once in awhile.

Once Anna felt like she could continue she headed back inside and tired to get close to the target. Making her way near the target she spotted the Fire Eagle boy.
"Guess he's here for the target as well. Just have to beat him to it then."
Anna looked in the direction of the target and saw that he was making his way out into the hallway. Quickly following him Anna walked silently behind him.

Devin saw that the target was heading towards the hallway. Devin thought he may be alone when he gets there, so Devin follows him. While he was headed for the hallway, he saw the Shadow Hawk girl following him as well. He tries to get theough the crowd faster. He won't lose this target to her.

Anna got closer to the target and when he rounded a corner she moved in quickly, but she was caught off guard by something. Anna pulled back quickly and her hand hand went immediately to her side, when she put it up to the light it revealed blood.
"Don't think i didn't know that i was a target, little girl. Guess now you won't be able to report back that you got me." The target smirked with satisfaction.
Anna put her back against the wall and pulled out one of her daggers, she pointed it at the target and smiled a bit while wincing at the pain in her side.
"Don't think this wound ... will stop... me. I've been through... worse."
Anna started to cough up blood, she slowly moved towards the target in attack but stumbled to the ground.
"I'm... not going... to give... up."
Anna got back up but fell backwards to the wall.

Devin caught up to the target and the Shadow Hawk girl. He saw the target injure her. He was amazed by how she wanted to keep going. He felt bad for her. He knew that if she kept trying to get the target, she could get more injured. He doesn't want to see anyone in critical condition or dead, so he decided to get in the middle of this.
Devin gets in between the target and the girl. "You're not going to get away," he says. He looks back at the girl. "You should call out for help. You can't fight anymore," he says to her, then turns his attention to the target.

Anna winced at the pain but got to her feet.
"Your not the boss of me, plus this one's mine so back off."
Anna moved towards the target trying to get the Fire Eagle boy out of her way.
"Such a pity, this boy offers to help but what do you do, you turn him down. Besides that pretty little face of yours would be wasted if blood-stained now wouldn't it."
The target moved to attack Anna, lifting her dagger in defense Anna was pinned down to the floor. Using the strength she had left Anna pushed the target back and got up quickly only to be met by the edge of a blade close to her cheek. She pulled back but the target came at her again.
"Seems your not needed here boy no go, you'll have your chance to die along side her later."
The target started to plunge his blade into Anna.

Devin wouldn't allow the Shadow Hawk girl, even though she wouldn't listen to him. The only way to save her was to kill the target, since he could still hurt her if Devin just injures him.
Devin reaches into a pocket into his suit and pulled out his gun. He aims at the target and shoots the target through the head before the blade in his hand reached the Shadow Hawk girl.

Anna slide to the ground slowly in shock. trying to regain herself she wiped off the blood that had splattered her face.
"I... guess I owe... you a thank you. Thanks for your help, guess this guys yours then."
Anna got up and walked away slowly stumbling along the wall. She tripped and fell to the floor unconscious.

Devin goes to the Shadow Hawk girl. He grabs a bandage wrap he kept with him and covered up her injury. He needed to get her out of her. Devin picks her up and carries her out of the estate. People were staring at them, but he didn't stop.

Anna felt that someone was carrying her, feeling a cold breeze Anna opened her eyes to see her surroundings.
"Where am I? This doesn't look like the Estate where that target was."
Anna looked up at the sky but saw the Fire Eagle's boy face.
"Why are you helping me... Are hunter groups are... enemies?"

Devin was suprised to see that the Shafow Hawk girl was awake. "Just because ur groups are enemies doesn't mean I should let you die," he says to her.

Anna looked at him surprised.
"What if someone spots you helping me, you would get in trouble wouldn't you?"
Anna put her hand to her side but felt a bandage.
"Did you put this on me?"
Anna seemed a bit surprised at the boy's kindness not knowing if he was planning something or not.

Anna looked off to the side, half ashamed that she couldn't protect herself from the target.
"Thanks i guess, whats your name? My name is Anna."
Trying not to look at the Fire Eagle boy in the face Anna just looked at him from the corner of her eye.

"My name is Devin," Devin says to Anna. He sets Anna down on the ground. "We need to check out your injury," he tells Anna.
