Hello everyone, and welcome to my little spot in the creative exchange.
This thread is where I will buy and sell art and I will offer my banner making skills for free.
I find that it is difficult for me to keep three separate threads up all at once, so they are now rolled into one.
I ask simply that you obey Zantarni's rules and that you respect me as well as my other thread guests.
I am not looking for a critique of my skills unless I explicitly say so.
Please don't critique or criticize anyone else's art in my thread either.
That being said, feel free to browse my shop!

These banners are completely free, all I ask is that you allow me to link your thread or profile if you use my banners so that I can show off samples of my work. Please also give me credit for the banners when anyone asks. (A link or disclaimer would be lovely, but they're not necessary. Just don't call the banners your own work.)
Just give me a basic description of what you'd like! (Thread banners, profile banners, cards, signature banner) And please tell me what you'd like on them. Images are do-able, but nothing copyrighted can be used and image placement in the program I work with (Inkist) can be tricky.
Please remember that these banners are free. If you don't like them, you can always reorder or pay to have them done by someone slightly more skilled than me.

Those are the three most recent examples of my art that I have. Unfortunately, none of them are exactly the spitting image of what a colored/scanned in/cleaned up picture would look like. But, the art I will be distributing will be similar to those above, and the quality as far as messy lines and scanning (or lack there of) will be top notch.
If you'd like to order art from me, post your reference and your bribe as well as a description of your character/avatar and a pose that you might like.
In order to draw for me, just post a few samples, a price range, and let me know what you'd like to draw. Chances are, I'd love to get art from you.

I've been doing pretty well, I might actually get an event set!
I think tonight I'm going to start my research paper for my English class. I might make a board about what I find out... I found a topic that's pretty near and dear to me.

I have been ok, things have been stressful around the house, but I am managing to try to be happy still. I've been having a bit of a struggle with one of the people we are letting stay with us (she is on a very short cord at the moment, and her boy friend is not very impressed with her actions either.). She has a very poor attitude.
But other than that, everything has been pretty peachy.
Hmmm, how about another version of the same Dungeons and Dragons character I asked about in your head shop thread? I've been looking for more art of her

I certainly hope she straightens out a bit then... Sounds like she may need to. It's good that you're staying happy though.
I have the Serenity Prayer that I learned in Al-Anon on my phone to help me stay calm when people are being kinda rude.
Sure, that sounds great. I'm about to post the pictures that I got done up in the other thread, I'll scan them in either later tonight if my roommate isn't sleeping or in the morning tomorrow.

I hope so too, but I know at this point she is doing a lot of pretending right now. Via a post on facebook she forgot to custom me out of. So I took a screen shot of at and am going to confront her with it the next time she wants to run her mouth to me. Not to mention that I have other friends who are keeping an eye out on any trash talking she may be doing. Be cause I will not put up with being trash talked by someone who wants to do nothing.
It is nice to have something to concentration on when people are being rude. I usually stuff my face in the computer so that I don't have to respond to the person.

Yeah... That sounds like a few people I know. I hope things get sorted out for you, and if you ever need anyone to vent to, I'm here. Hopefully she grows up a bit, and hopefully she does it fast.
I tend to do the same thing. I usually try to listen to music that calms me down in addition to it, or I'll draw. Anything to get my mind off the issue.

Me too. It is really frustrating housing someone who wants to just cause drama -rolls eyes-
I hope she does grow up soon, but I hardly doubt that will happen. it's to the point that her boyfriend wants to break up with her if she doesn't change soon. he is tired of his girlfriend upsetting all of his friends.
She will say some really mean stuff, and then say that she was just joking. When it was never in a joking manner.
I wish I could put a head set on. But I only feel comfortable doing that when my daughter is finally in bed. otherwise I feel like I am completely shut off. I too will draw at times when I feel like that. But sometimes I just get so frustrated that I will click through the same group of tabs that I have open. and I'll be so frustrated that I wont know what thing to respond to first.

I can relate a bit, my little brother can act in a similar manner sometimes. He tries to act all big, bad, and tough, but he just comes off a bit harsh. He struggles with a lot of internal issues though, so it's a bit of a different story.
Maybe that's the kind of shock she needs. :/ It sounds a little rough to say, but sometimes people need a figurative slap in the face to realize how the world perceives their behavior... I wouldn't want to put up with that kind of stuff either.
Yeah... It sounds kinda like she might not really be too mature... :/ I'm sorry you have to deal with that kind of stuff.
I understand that. Usually when I have Will sitting beside me I only have one ear plug in when I'm listening to music. He helps comfort me a bit too. I tend to draw my OC, Finch. She's more or less the character that lives in a world that I want to retreat to when I'm mad.
I know the feeling! I have that issue regardless of whether or not I'm mad!

yeah I can hear that. I know that my friend is suffering from issues of her own and is supposed to be on medication. but I also believe in learning to curve ones attitude. But that is probably because I was raised to try to be aware of when my mood alters.
It probably is the kind of shock that she needs. But Sadly I honestly do not think that she would learn from it. I think she would just end up resenting me in the end.
yeah pretty much..
right, my love is one of my best forms of comfort,that and my art. I too have a couple of OC's that I draw to help me cope.

I understand that. I've always tried to be sensitive to people around me, and I've always been a "people pleaser," I always try to make everyone happy. But I've had to learn over the years that I have to make myself happy too. I think my brother has experienced the exact opposite, he get upset with people that are mad at him for putting himself first (he almost always puts himself first).
I have seasonal affective disorder, so I have to be attentive to my mood too.
Yeah. :/ Hopefully she grows up a little eventually. Maybe she'll eventually realize how much you've done for her.
