That's true. Our lights flicker and dim randomly. It's unnerving. We switched out our can lights for more energy efficient cans and bulbs, and changed the dimmer switches. They flicker and hum at certain points now. Oi.

We like the dimmer switches because hubby likes low lighting, and I like a lot of lighting. So we can have it how we like it when it's just one of us, or compromise when it's both of us.

Different people do like different amounts of light, especially at different times during the day.
I seemed to get about all the items I wanted from this event. Not that I have wanted to do much this week at all.
UPDATE : October 26th :
We have a new event to play now. <3 The theme of cats and mice is rather cute.
Speaking of light. I still have not put up my curtains.

I theorize that Bernadette and Potrin are involved in having all the cats and rats and bats running about.
You have a cute pink circus ringleader outfit on there. Tame that turnip!
I am trying on the new cat mask. I'm not sure how good the outfit is that I made. I guess it is OK, but I'm not sure about how to make something better.

I can hardly wait to see some story line for this e event. Usually it is the first thing that comes in the event, and is part of the announcement.
I'll have to see what the tails I have look like with this outfit.
I decided to not do overtime today because my back is so tired. I'm glad I visit the chiropractor tomorrow and get an adjustment and a massage.

I keep checking back throughout each day to see if more has been revealed.
It's good to take care of yourself I'm a few weeks out from my chiropractor appointment and it already feels like I need to see him again, lol.

I just wish that the massage could get out more of the aches in my muscles. I should stretch more - like every day.
It does look like the plot will be rather brief for this event. That's OK. Sometimes it's nice to just kick back and take it easy.
One event development does seem to be a currency boost for a short while. I really need it. I have not really been posting that much at all this event.

That's true. Though I still would like to know who or what is causing this kerfuffle
And yay for the event currency boost! I just got all of my items, so I'll be able to help those who need it. Or just hang onto the extra items. Every now and then, an old member returns and is looking for past event items.

I have about everything I want from the event store. Not every item from the event appeals to me. I like cute things, not spooky and scary.

Hummmm. The event items for St Yorick's this year are a bit monster-ish. there are cute things, too, though.

I certainly was not expecting a yeti theme this year. I like all the items, and I think the yeti pets are rather cute.
