I dunno, nothing major. I'd just change things stylistically to make it look how I'd like it. For example I might draw the shoes slightly different, or the pattern on the kimono slightly different. Basically, I just improvise while I draw. I'll show you the WIPs so you can see and tell me if you want me to change anything.
Edit: Like how I did small stylistic changes when drawing Celestrya's avi:

(Except for the colour of the horns, since it was a traditional one I couldn't fix it to the right colour)
