*thinks* I'm not sure. I think quitting smoking has made me jumpy.
Zan is getting pretty old. So are the original citizens. _________________ Rayven, I look at your avatar and think "Queen Sparklebutt!"-Tam

How is your quest going so far, Kaderin?
Herm...what are you up to...?
Anyway, so...it turns out that I can't actually access Zantarni on the computer at work. The site gets blocked when I try to log in with a message that the site is attempting an attack or something like that...
So the quest list making and progress are gonna be pretty slow, but I'm gonna try to get it all figured out at some point this weekend anyway.

Yeah, the site is safe and definitely not trying to hack your work computer, but we have an old site that ... ummm... complicates things sometimes - basically, it fails new "security" checks that have been recently implemented in many of the browsers and on corporate sites because we have an old certificate... :/

... ummm... pixeling...???
After that, it's off to work on some graphics and some coding and uploading things and ...
Otherwise, I do have a few surprises up my sleeve (I usually do ), but I need to get this stuff done first...
What are YOU up to?

Since editing my quest is made extremely difficult by not being able to access Zantarni on a computer, I gave up on it for now and I am at work so....
Mostly just a lot of data entry for updating our gift shop inventory. _________________

I miss data entry type stuff. It's been years since I've done any of that. I know most people find that kind of thing tedious and boring, but I'm weird. _________________ Rayven, I look at your avatar and think "Queen Sparklebutt!"-Tam

It's incredibly tedious, but tbh, I don't mind it that much really as long as I can take small breaks every so often to sort of let my eyes and brain refresh. _________________

That's a must. It doesn't really matter what I'm doing, I need a break after about 2 hours. I get pretty cranky if I don't get a break. _________________ Rayven, I look at your avatar and think "Queen Sparklebutt!"-Tam

I'm always cranky do breaks don't really help with that...but they do give me a change of pace for a bit so I can come back to a task with a fresher perspective. _________________

LOL It does help reset the brain. I turn into a nervous wreck if I can't do that.

The musem? I'll hit my 5 year "anniversary" of being hired this November so...almost 5 years. But I've only been doing the front desk regularly for about a year. And it's only Saturday currently, but before covid was also Tuesday evenings. And have only been doing the data entry tasks for a few months. And I imagine those will probably run out once the inventory is all updated and in the computer. _________________

Yeah. That's nice. You've been there a while then. Working at a museum must be neat. _________________ Rayven, I look at your avatar and think "Queen Sparklebutt!"-Tam

Well...most of my job there is scrubbing toilets and mopping floors and such. So I don't know that I would call it neat. It's a small local museum so we don't don't really get many big name artists and it's free to the public so it's not like I even get the priviledge of seeing the art for free or anything.
And my time spent at the desk is mainly just selling clay to the pottery students who are in for open studio time and data entry and answering the phone, which is usually a question I don't know the answer to because I'm not at the desk that much so no one ever fills me in on stuff.
Tbh, if I wasn't so scared of change and of not finding a job that pays as well, I'd probably have left years ago. But the only job I know I can get and that would pay enough is grocery store cashier. And I'd rather die than go back to that. _________________

Does the museum at least have a relaxed working environment? I would hope so since it's small.
I actually liked being a cashier. It's funny what people like or don't like.
I hope you eventually find something that pays enough and that you like. _________________ Rayven, I look at your avatar and think "Queen Sparklebutt!"-Tam

It's fairly relaxed yeah. At least it is now. The executive director we had until almost a year ago was really uptight and seemed to have a personal vendetta against me which made things incredibly stressful. As in I'm pretty sure at the end she was absolutely looking for a reason to fire me.
I don't mind being a cashier at Joann (my second job), because I do crafts too so it's easy to strike up a conversation with people and to have a good time. The store I work at is pretty small and my coworkers are very much like family. (No lie, the boss yesterday ordered me a full latge pizza AND my own box of lemon pepper fries, which I left there so I can heat it up again for lunch today.)
But grocery store cashiering is totally different. It's boring and you seldom get to walk around and it's harder to actually talk and get to know your customers. Much more robotic. And people going through on the phone and basically just throwing the money at you and treating you like you're not a human is not my cup of tea.
I hope so too. Unfortunately my passions aren't really things that pay well.
At least not without either getting extremely lucky or more schooling that I can't afford. _________________

Wow. I've been there and that totally sucks. I'm glad you don't have to deal with her anymore.
I can understand that.
Wow. We're two peas in a bankrupt pod. That's always been one of my biggest problems. That and people. I don't tolerate jerks well at all. Or at least I didn't. I've been working on it. _________________ Rayven, I look at your avatar and think "Queen Sparklebutt!"-Tam
