They were pulling from LOTR too. There was a part in The Hobbit where Bilbo asks Gandalf if there were any other wizards, and he said that there were 2 blue wizards, who's names he had forgotten. They weren't allowed to name them because they don't have the rights to the books that they were either mentioned or actively a part of the story.
I'd be tempted to read the other books, if they were along the lines of The Hobbit, but I have a feeling they are more along the lines of LOTR. _________________ Court Jester? Bo?

Numbers are subject to change; I'm not going to set a specific goal at the moment. There are some oldies I'd like to reread and some new ones I'd like to get through, so I suppose I'll just track them as I go... _________________ Sketches by CM | Visit my pets | Avatar Voting

From everything I know about the series they are very much along the lines of LOTR and tend to me much more scattered. _________________ Moon's Youtube//Blog

I have the urge to read, a few pages at least, of LOTR. But I still haven't finished Harry Potter yet. D:
I may end up adding a few, not pleasure reading books to my list, once I read them. _________________ Court Jester? Bo?

It has been aaaaages since I've read the Hobbit or LotR, but I have read the complete series through ... several times! It's probably time to read them once more (I remember them being absolutely fascinating but also having the tendency to be a little tedious at spots). Anyway ...
CrystalMind, I've added you to the list on the first page. Welcome... and good luck with your reading goals! _________________

The part where the Hobbits are going through the forest to Bree, THAT was majorly tedious. Only part that I can think of for now. _________________ Court Jester? Bo?

How long Bilbo spent running around in gold from a dragon was also majorly tedious. _________________ Moon's Youtube//Blog

Finally finished the last HP book. I struggled right up to Malfoy Manor and then after that I went through it pretty quickly. Now I am trying to decide what to do, read another book or think about doing my Health assignment. >.> _________________ Court Jester? Bo?

*updated my book list*
Well, looking back at the list, although it seems like I've read a ton of things this year, it appears that that is not the case... or maybe I'm just forgetting which ones I have read, when (& didn't manage to track it all very well here). So... on to next year, and maybe a bit more reading for enjoyment, hopefully? This year seems to have been filled with more educational type books than recreational, which is not a bad thing, just ... not quite what I was expecting or hoping for, I guess. Anyway...
How did you guys do with your reading goals for 2014?
Are you setting any for 2015? (I'll make a thread soon, unless somebody else beats me to it)

I did not do very well with my reading goal this year. I am happy that I at least got to read some books despite school, and I will most definitely make another goal for 2015 :3

I didn't do a whole lot of reading this year. I most read art books. Studying for class. I've read several manga books this year. The Devils Love Song. The library had ten of them. Now I'm working on some books called he Bride's Story by Kaoru Mori. The artwork is beautiful. I like the way she portray movement in the hunting images, you feel as if you are riding along beside her. The library had only the first three books. I wish they had the other volumes 4, 5 and 6. _________________
